I feel sorry for Journalist and the Media as now Fox News and the Romney team/Karl Rove/Sarah Palin say Obama was never vetted and Americans don't know anything about him. Americans don't know where he came from, what education did he get, what colleges did he go to, did he really graduate and who are his friends. As reported Americans know nothing about Barack Obama. Some say President Obama is scary and in three years has destroyed all the hard work done by the former Administration. The GOP Congress has been the hardest working Congress in history with the highest ratings and Obama refuses to help get the Keystone pipeline, give Banks another Bailout and allow Wall Street to freely do illegal trading. Mitt will use his Bain Capital experience as President and investors can get bigger profits while the taxpayers can cover the national debt. Paul Ryan's Plan will cut most social programs and health care but with the new policies the national debt will increase to 10 trillion in 4 years.
Wall Street did a number on Facebook with sabotage to the first day opening. The fix was in from the traders, business news, Nasdaq and even the fact break down for the delay. Smart move except they got caught and the lawsuits are flying out. Even the under writers were in the fix to assure Facebook failed.
that about says it all
Jackie,
Can you give me one grade from high school or any of the colleges President Obama attended?
Can you name any of the courses and/or topic of and of the papers he would have to have written for course completion?
Vetted. I do not think so.
I am sorry I thought you knew. Here's his story reported
1971 College preparatory school 1979 Occidental College 1981 Columbia University
1988 Harvard Law School 1991 Graduated Harvard * JD Magna Cum Laude and elected Harvard Review
1992 Harvard Professor teaching Constitutional Law
Now here's what his grade was JD means Utriusque Doctorl and Magna Cum Laude is Latin meaning Great honors.
Now no one has asked about Mitt but here it goes
Cranbrook school Standford U. France Mormon Missionary BYU Harvard Law school and Business school
1975 Graduated from Harvard cum laude ( means honors )
Law School sets grades above passing with lation terms and I hope this helps.. Oh and Barack was the first African American who made Law Review. Now it the World of Law that is the highest award you can receive. Hope this helps answer your question on grades.
Brian,
Noticed in your speech to recent college graduates you mentioned that our politics is broken. Why did you not include the news media at the same time as it is also very badly broken.
regards,
Brian, another terrific broadcast as always, and a good story on the Cincinnati Reds. Our daughter's birthday is in
June , she already has tickets for a Reds' game then. I am not tagging along with her and my husband because
my head is not in the game, in a manner of speaking but for my grandson Kyle's baseball game I am already
there. It is a whole new ballgame when he plays. A rising star!!!!!!!! I know talent when I see it. Have a nice evening all!
Good Evening Mr.Williams, A fine broadcast this evening as always.
First of all the report by Mr. Pete Williams about the diverted US Airways flight and how one woman passenger claimed in a note passed to a flight attendant that she had a device implanted on her. The flight which was on route from Paris to Charlotte, NC had to be diverted to Bangor, Maine at which time authorities came on board to escort her off the plane. The Pilot managed to keep all the passengers calm by not telling them of the incident and just saying the plane needed to stop and refuel. After being examined by doctors on board it was determined she was mentally disturbed and is now in custody with authorities. A potential threatening situation avoided by good handling of authorities.
The piece about Bethany Lansaw from Joplin, Missouri who survived the extremely destructive tornado because her husband Dan covered her and protected her was heartbreaking. It was so tragic and heartwrenching that her husband Dan lost his life in the storm because he was hit by debris. As she says in the interview that he was her hero and truly loving. Now a year later Bethany has moved in to a friend's home along with going back to school, work and even the community theater. It was encouraging to learn she is going to be receiving her Masters Degree this Summer. As she stated even on her worst day she was loved and protected. Life has started over for her. A piece that brings tears. Thoughts go out to her.
The report by Mr.Mott showed that Joplin has been rebuilding slowly and making progress each day. It is uplifting to see homes being rebuilt and other buildings. But one still sees the hospital that was heavily damaged and has to use temporary treament facilities. But there is much hope and resilience and the people of Joplin will recover over the coming years.
Incredible wedding photo from Kansas with the tornadoes in the background.
Also, the color coded map of what people in the US are eating during certain hours of the day.
The piece by Mr.Allen about the baseball pitcher, Austin Solecitto who can't hear and only wears the hearing device off the pitcher's mound was inspirational. Not being able to hear does seem to help him focus on the game without hearing all the noise. Then he puts on the hearing device off the field after the game. An extraordinary baseball player and student at his high school. He has a bright future.
Thank You for the broadcast Mr.Williams. Peace to You and to All!

Space x successful launch ..4 Predictions for what's next ..
Good Evening Mr.Willams, a fine broadcast this Wednesday evening as always! Always wonderful to see Richard on the broadcast! Richard is doing a great job reporting on the historic elections in Egypt which still have another day to go and could bring some definite changes to the country depending on who could win the Run-Off Election later in June.
Richard's report from Cairo showed how the people of Egypt are now being able to have a vote to elect a new President of the country. Having been ruled by kings, pharoahs and military it is now time for the country to have a free election. With five candidates on the ballot, 2 Islamists, 1 Socialist and 2 candidates who are more supportive of the old Mubarek regime. It was encouraging to see the people lining up peacefully at the polling stations and also Tahrir Square being used for campaign posters for candidates. But as Richard stated much of the decision will come from people living in the villages who are divided about whether to vote for continuity or a new direction for the country. After forty years of the of the same type of regime it could be time for a change. The Muslim Brotherhood has gained momentum over the months holding rallies and telling the people their Islamic law is the right choice for the direction of Egypt. Yet, they want to tear up the old peace treaty signed under President Carter's years as President. President Carter seemed optimistic it would stay intact. As Richard stated , "Egypt is at a crossroads" and as voting goes on tomorrow there will likely be a run-off. Time will tell as to which group ends up in charge.
Excellent Reporting as Always Richard!
On another note the report by Mr.Costello about Facebook and what happened to the stock certainly showed how the public was left out in the cold so to speak. It is understandable the stockholders would be suing Facebook and that Morgan Stanley only told valuable clients about the negative view of Facebook. There should be some definite questions answered by Morgan Stanley and Facebook as to why this happened.
As Mr.Sorkin stated there is a distrust towards Wall Street and that it is not an even playing field for everyone. A sense of fairness is needed and tougher oversight is vital.
One hopes Former First Lady Nancy Reagan recovers quickly from her fall.
The report by Mr.Sanders about the evidence in the death of drum major Robert Champion was disturbing and tragic. Hearing accounts of what happened leading up to his death was awful and tougher charges should be enforced on those responsible. It is difficult to believe he went along with the hazing and terrible it got out of control. One should hope this never happens again.
Thank You for the broadcast Mr.Williams. Peace to You and to All!

Good afternoon all, and I have a question. Do any of you have a problem connecting to your Inbox email to
read your email. I am experiencing difficulties, and it is a bear getting on. Not an issue with my family. Much
thanks!!!!!!
Brian, Bad News is that Bin Laden had his own country with nuclear weapons, but the good news is that the
Navy Seals took him out before it was too late. President Obama deserves praise from all Americans. It
was his call, after all!!!
Good Evening Mr.Williams, a fine broadcast this Thursday evening.
First of all the report by Mr.Costello about the threat of hurricanes in the coming months and how unusual the weather has been during the Winter Season and Spring Season. The active time for hurricanes being between June 1 and November 30th the predictions have been for normal hurricane season. Last year had one of the worst seasons of hurricanes with one major one named Hurricane Irene that battered the whole EastCoast. This storm causing billions of dollars worth of damage all the way up the EastCoast and into Vermont. It is a watching and waiting time for forecasters in this season of storms. As Mr.Knabb at National Hurricane Center stated it is hard to predict landfalls. One hopes the storm season isn't too bad.
The report by Andrea Mitchell about Pakistan's decision to convict the doctor who helped the United States track down Bin Laden showed the tensions between the US and Pakistan are growing stronger. The doctor who is accused of treason by Pakistan helped collect DNA samples from the compound to prove Bin Laden was actually living in the residence. Yet, President Zadari states that any collaborating with foreign intelligence is to be a spy. It is a difficult situation since Pakistan has cut the supply lines to US Troops in Afghanistan. Relations between the nations have never been worse and one hopes some sort of an agreement can be reached soon.
The report by Mr.Arouzi showed how talks about Iran's nuclear program have broken down with no concession by Iran to cease producing uranium. Only agreement is to continue having more talks.
The piece by Chris Jansing interviewing James Earl Jones and Angela Landsbury who are both part of a hit broadway show proves how these two great actors are certainly bringing in the big audiences. Also, wonderful to see Joel Grey in the show too and see how he is still a hit on broadway. Fine actors all in there 80's and going stronger than ever. It was great to her from all of them and how these performances keep them young. Very nice piece!
Thank You for the broadcast Mr.Williams. Peace to You and to All!

You live long enough to see the strangest things. I enjoyed Mitt Romney's plan for School vouchers as he said that the Latino Event. At lease it would make Tagg Romney billions as he has interest in private schools. I enjoyed listening to Mitt talk about his Bain Capital experience as he knows how to get big profits for investors but it's not a company that creates jobs. Mitt did tell a student that joining the Military would pay for his education. Now is a topic Mitt might want to leave off the list of topics. Mitt dodged the Vietnam War and said he would never allow his 5 sons to ever join the Military, not a good thing to say after seeing we lost 5,000 young men/women in Iraq alone. Mitt said let the housing market bottom out as his son Josh Romney is a Real Estate developer and he would get wealthy with homes given away. As Mitt did say Americans should be renters not homeowners.
We should all honor our brave troops and they are just great. We've putting flags on grave-sites again this year.
The Pakistan conflict is more of a problem for NATO as the US can't police the World nor should we. Egypt elections are the choice of the people and everyone should stay out of it.
I hope Hurricane doesn't hit the USA as we can't forget how the GOP cut FEMA aid and so many disasters while States needed help. The President did what he could but it would have been nice if Congress had helped. We saw Congress help other countries with aide but deny it to taxpayers.
have a great night all
Jackie, an excellent post as always. Of interest, perhaps, MSNBC Blog "Schizophrenic Ally's $33 Million in
Pakistan Aid tobe Cut?" A subcommittee earlier in the week slashed assistance to Islamabad and
warned it would withhold even more cash if Pakistan does not reopen supply routes for NATO soldiers
in neighboring Afghanistan." A blogger, Senate material, wrote that the Taliban may have pushed Russia
to defeat, but now the deceitful tactics are exposed. It was Pakistan at war with Russia. Now we are
in Afghanistan and the safe haven borders are the supply routes for the uncontrolled insurgents to
seek refuge and resupply. Pakistan was the problem all along."
PS Jackie, hopefully, the Pakistan problemwill be addressed at the UN Meeting in September 2012. TGIF, if not before then.Phyllis
And I would be remiss if I did not add that this blogger (and I would be surprised if he is not drafted by the Obama
administration for his insight) has identified the Pakistan problem as the snake fields within the borders.
Have a nice weekend all and a memorable Memorial Day. Phyllis
memorial day has been on my mind for a while now, over the past several years, i have found myself spending long hours on wikipedia reading about one conflict after another. read that j.r.r. tolkein was disabled with the weakening and emaciating effects of trench fever, carried by the lice in the trenches that made restful sleep impossible. he had one friend left by 1918, the rest were war dead. on being questioned if his lord of the rings trilogy was based on wwi, he said not, the main protagonist was based on satan, so i guess it was like the war in heaven. i didn't watch any of peter jackson's movies of those books. i would have had horrible nightmares from the violence. orcs everywhere. they should just turn the orcs into cows so they can go up the food chain and come back as the men or elves that they once were. we will sing the soldiers who fought for right and pray that the scourges are being eliminated for all time. best, anna martina
Good Evening Mr.Williams, a fine broadcast as always this Friday before Memorial Day Weekend.
First of all the report by Mr.Allen about the arrest of a man who confessed to the murder of the little boy Etan Patz thirty-three years ago. It is awful to learn this man who is married and a father of of college age daughter would have committed such a terrible crime. Hearing what he did and how he disposed of the body was horrible and one wonders why this happened. It was a stunning confession ,but although the authorities need to have enough evidence to convict this man, Pedro Hernandez of the murder of Etan Patz. Much has been done to help develop a database of missing and murdered children along with the Amber Alert and other things like the internet in posting pictures instantly of the child who is missing.
The report by Chris Jansing told of how the percentages of children found are much higher that years ago. The success rate of finding the children alive has grown over the years.
Thoughts and prayers go out to the parents of Etan Patz as the developments increase in this case.
Hearing from Mr.Cantore told of how this Memorial Day Weekend will have hot temperatures in the MidSection along with predictions of some possible tornadoes. Along the EastCoast the Tropical Storm could bring some rough surf to the coast with needed rain to the South which will help with the drought.
Heartwrenching and moving speech by Vice President Biden.
A historic vote in Egypt as the first free elections have been held to elect a new president, but as Richard stated things might become difficult due to the two candidate headed for a run-off. One from the Mulsim Brotherhood and the other who is from the former Mubarek regime. A tense situation for all the citizens of Egypt.
Nice piece by Kristen Dalhgren about the 75th Anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Thank You for the broadcast Mr.Williams. Have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend. Honor All Our Brave Soldiers. Peace to You and to All!

Enjoy Memorial Day and please rememer our brave soldiers who protect us all.
My heart broke watching VP Biden today as he spoke of his lost and his struggle to go on. So many families deal with that as we had two Wars with thousands of soldiers lost. What God holds for your future you don't know but keep the faith He has a plan. Vets and current servicemen/women are the greatest and President Obama will honor our Military. This is not a weekend for Mitt Romney to step out he should wait until Monday. America honors those who served not those who Dodged the Draft by fleeing to France.
Etan is a case many remember and learned to hold their children close. To many unanswered questions and the word of a sick man who is dying. Why Etan and has he killed again? We have seen many who confess to crimes they didn't commit for different reasons. Hernandez knows this is a famous unsolved case and might want his family to cash in on it. Hendandez might want this as his way of having a quick dealth. We just hear a young man had is life taken for 10 years as a girl lied about a rape. Well her family got 1.5 million in a settlement for something that neve happen.
have a happy safe weekend all
Lester, a terrific broadcast and good reporting from Richard on Syria, and I think only the removal of
Assad from power would end the deaths of the Syrian people and even the destruction of this country.
You would think that Russia's Putin would see that Assad has to go. And not a minute too soon. It
is indeed unforgivable that innocent children are being slaughtered. Unacceptable as well. Something
must be done!!!
Lester, all people should be encouraged by the emergency meeting of the UN today. As summed up
by Daily Beast's Leslie Gelb in describing the G8 and NATO meeting there is a foreign-policy god and
it is She who deserves thanks Obviously, Russia's Putin believes the Goddess is the one and only S/S Hilliary Clinton herself
because he claims she is the "secret power," etc. so it may be a good idea for her to lobby him. A UN
Meeting will be held in September 2012. It was FDR's goal to spiritualize the UN but, unfortunately,
he died before it could happen. Why not, then, in the Fall? Just asking!!!!!! Today I heard a
song on the car radio "It is over now, and it is Monday for sure" which is perfect for Memorial Day.
Be safe all!
Blogging from DC and it surprised me too. A Military friend gave me a ticket to DC for the Arlington National Cemetery and Vietnam events. I was glad I had already placed the flags at our local military sites. I am meeting so many new friends and even some old ones too. Everyone is talking about VP Biden's speech and maybe we might get to see the President tomorrow but there are so many people it's great. We are all here to honor the best Military in the World and those wonder brave soldiers and thank the fallen for giving us the Freedom we have today.
I'll get back to World events Tuesday.
A special hi to my blog friends oorah!!!
Well, God can surprise you. It is Russia who called for the emergency meeting of the UN. Whatever the
reason, my prayer was answered, and I'd like to believe there was a deeper reason. And I'd like to
believe there will now be a forthcoming presidential statement from Putin. Maybe the UN Ambassador
should meet him in the lobby.
Good Evening Savannah, A great Memorial Day broadcast. Good to see you filling in for Mr.Williams. You do a great job on the Today Show! Always wonderful to see Richard on the broadcast. Richard has done excellent reporting all weekend and of course tonight on the continuing conflict in Syria along with the voting in Egypt. One truly hopes there can be a peaceful resolution to the terrible violence in Syria. Too many innocent lives have been lost espeically tragic is the loss of so many children. One hopes for peace as soon as possible.
First of all Richard's report about the continuing conflict in Syria which has taken hundreds of lives along with the deadly massacre recently in the city of Houla. It is horrific and extremely sad to learn how many people were lost, but especially all the lives of the children. The Syrian forces shelling the town with artillery then militia of "thugs" going from house to house shooting at families. International mediator Kofi Annan meeting in Damascus ststed he was horrified by the incident with the Syrian Government losing credibilty. Russia is calling for an end to the violence, but also doesn't want to lose an ally in Syria. It is such a difficult situation, but one hopes so much the attacks against the people in the region will cease.
Excellent Reporting as Always Richard!
On a weather note Tropical Storm Beryl certainly poured alot of rain onto drought stricken areas of the South.
As Mr.Seidel reported the storm made landfall around Jacksonville with winds just under hurrican force at 73mph and much rainfall. Seeing the waves of around 6 to 8 ft was telling of the force of the storm and did cause tourists to move inland to stay safe from the beach. It seemed to uproot some trees and make for multiple power outages, but no major damage.
The report by Mr.Cantore told of high temperatures in the MidSection of the nation with high nineties in Chicago and other States. With 17 States having high temperatures it did make for a very warm Memorial Day Weekend. And the heat continues tomorrow.
The report by Kristen Welker showed how President Obama honored War Veterans with a wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unkown Soldiers and honoring Veterans of the Vietnam War with a speech at the Vietnam Memorial marking the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War. His speeches about always honoring those who serve our country so bravely.
Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney also giving a speech honoring Veterans with Senator John McCain.
The piece by Mr.Tibbles showed how all over the nation parades and rememberances were done to honor the War Veterans. Important to know the sacrifices made by the men and women serving our nation so proudly. A time to reflect and say, "Thank You" for all they have done to help our nation be free.
The "Making A Difference" report by Mr. Almaguer about Erma Klatt was truly inpsirational. At age 84 she is really making an impact on these children in the classroom and she has endured so much in her life. Being a Foster child during the Depression and answering the call the duty during WWII at age 16 building and repairing battleships is remarkable. With five generations in the military she and her family are truly incredible. Erma Klatt is a remarkable lady and is continuing to help young children everyday. Nice piece.
Thank You for the broadcast Savannah. Peace to You and to All!
Be Well Everyone!

Savannah, always good to see you fill in for Brian, great reporting also by Richard on Syria. I was put out
that President Putin did not attend the G8 Summit, but, hopefully, when he meets with President Obama
next month, the two leaders will accomodate one another. Such a tragedy in Syria; one hopes for
peace, and freedom for the Syrian people.
