Good Evening Mr.Williams, a fine Friday broadcast as always.
First of all the report by Andrew Ross Sorkin about the bank JP Morgan Chase that lost $2billion due to a risky trading deal. Showing the CEO along with many others within the bank made sloppy mistakes and used bad judgement to invest stockholder funds. Hearing from the CEO of JP Morgan Chase Jamie Dimon proved this was a self inflicted mistake and there should be stricter regulations. This huge mistake makes investors worry about other large banks and whether they need to be broken up. It is understandable that stocks were down in many banks. Time will tell if anything can be fixed in the industry.
The report by Mr.Tibbles about Illinois Senator Mark Kirk who was stricken with a stroke and in now filming hos rehabilitation showed how intense the therapy in trying to regain his mobility on his left side. Teaching the Senator through therapy to use other parts of the brain to gain functions. He is truly making some progress and will hopefully continue to make positive strides.
The piece by Mr.Mott about people starting new careers after retirement was encouraging, but also shows it can be a real change from the careers they have held for many years. People haven't saved enough for retirement and these new careers bring some income to older Americans. Even though it is lower earnings these women don't show any signs of stopping. They do seem happy in their career choices.
Thank You for the broadcast Mr.Williams. Happy Mother's Day to Mrs. Williams! Have a wonderful weekend! Peace to You and to All!

Not surprised. They teach gaming theory in b-schools. If you want to get to the root of the problem, report on how the up-and-coming employees of Wall Street are being educated. The federal government not doing any thing meaningful about the regulatory climate is only half of the problem
