Correction...Secret Service was set up at the end of Civil War to stop counterfeiting of US money. Too many types of currency being passed as US. It was much later that Secret Service began protecting the President of the United States.

Good Evening Mr.Williams, A fine broadcast this Thursday evening as always.

First of all the report by Kristen Wellker about the disturbing scandal of the Secret Service and the involvement with prostitutes while in Columbia. Learning three personnel of the agency have already been ousted and more are expected to be departing puts a terrible taint on the organization that protects the President of the United States. As the investigation continues with interviews if the hotel staff as to what was happening and trying to locate the 11 women involved with the agents.

The report by Mr.Potter told of a taxi driver who tells of one woman who spoke of being with a agent and not getting paid the fee agreed upon. One can agree it is disgusting and stupid behavior by these agents and they should be held responsible and brought to justice.

The report by Mr.Allen about the missing child case of Etan Patz which happened in 1979 seems to be making investigators open the case again. Having this disappearance happen in this small neighborhood is so very tragic and one hopes with possible discoveries of new evidence at the scene there can be some closure. As the investigators tear down some sheetrock walls and dig up within a cement floor there could be some evidence found. It is so very sad and it was heartbreaking to see the parents back in 1970 being so overwhelmed and just wondering what happened to their little 6yr old boy. So very sad.

The piece by Lisa Myers about Pat Summitt showed what a great influence she was as a coach of the women's basketball team. She truly made an impact on all the players and it is sad to know she has to battle alzheimers. She is stepping down as coach, but she certainly will still be there for the players and for the organization to fight alzheimers. She is a strong and compasionate person and such an inspiration to so many women.

Thank You for the broadcast Mr.Williams. Peace to You and to All!

Be Well Everyone!

Stay Extra,Extra Safe and Well Richard!

Take Extra,Extra Good Care Richard and Crew!

Lisa

What a tempest in a Teapot, Prostitution is "Legal" in Columbia, and a "perk" at the very Hotel where these MEN were housed. So negotiations broke down between two or three of the men and their escorts. They were not on duty, they were on their own time. the President wasn't even in the country, WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL?? For the Military to be acting like our soldiers are somehow smearing or besmirching the honor of the Armed Forces or the Secret Service by consorting with "Hired Escorts" while off duty is Poppycock. Especially in a country where its legal...
