Good Evening Mr.Williams, A fine broadcast this evening as always. Certainly some frightening tornadoes in the Midwest this weekend and one hopes all the people will be able to rebuild. Thoughts and prayers go out to all the people of the Four States affected by these devastating tornadoes.

First of all the report by Mr.Gray from Woodward,Oklahoma showing the destruction left behind by the massive storms. Seeing all the destruction was heartbreaking especially when one knows people's mementos have been lost. Although, residents are searching in the rubble to find any of their belongings and one hopes they find everything. The spirit of the people will not be broken and they will be able to rebuild with much resilience and strengh.

The report by Mr.Cantore from Thurman, Iowa told of how the instability in the air contributed to the outbreak of these tornadoes. Seeing him explain how the wind sheer develops into a horizontal motion then the clouds form a rotating tube was interesting. The high temperatures in the EastCoast region are unusual for this time of year and are another contributor to the storms. One hopes the weather calms in the coming days.

Terrible to learn and see the destruction caused by the coordinated attacks in Afghanistan. Hearing there was 18 hours worth of ferocious attacks was awful and frightening. Extremely tragic.

The piece by Mr.Tibbles from Chicago about the bald eagle nesting in areas nearer to people was amazing. People are getting a closer look at these majestic birds and it is wonderful to hear they are off the endangered species list. Wonderful to see these birds so close.

Thank You for the broadcast Mr.Williams. Peace to You and to All!

Be Well Everyone!
