Good Evening Mr.Williams, A fine Monday broadcast. Certainly some unseasonable weather this "winter"since in many States it has not felt like winter and now tomorrow is the first day of Spring. All because of the Jet Stream keeping to cold temperatures away.
First of all the report by Mr.Seidel from Chicago and how it has been the strangest winter season ever. All these cities recording high temperatures and then seeing Flagstaff, Arizona with 20inches of snow. It sounds like the warm temperatures are going to remain most of the week with some States like Northern California receiving some snowfall in the mountains as skiers certainly found in recent days. Hearing it was going to be 86 degrees in Chicago on Wednesday and Thursday was amazing.
The report by Mr.Yang about the US Army Staff Sergeant Robert Bales, who allegedly went on a shooting rampage in a remote village in Afghanistan is terribly tragic. His defense being he is suffering from PTSD may be his only defense as he could face the death penalty. Ones thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and children.
Sad to learn the passing of a Medal of Honor recipient. William Charette show served in the Korean War was truly a hero and saved many of his fellow soldiers.
The piece by Michelle Kosinski about Kate Middleton, The Duchess of Cambridge show how she attracted much attention at he first public speech. She seems always well received by all the people who meet her and she always presents herself well. A great first speech.
Thank You for the broadcast Mr.Williams. Peace to You and to All!
Be Well Everyone!
Stay Extra,Extra Safe and Well Richard!
Take Extra,Extra Good Care Richard and Crew!

One correction to this broadcast. Medal of Honor recipient William Charette was not a U.S. Marine, as reported by Brian Williams. As one of the photographs clearly showed, he was a member of the U.S. Navy. Navy Hospital Corpsmen serve alongside Marines in combat. In fact, every Navy Medal of Honor recipient during the Korean War was a Hospital Corpsman.
