It was nice to hear the South Carolina RNC chairman say voters weren't interested in the lack of morals of Newt Gingrich as he would get the Christian vote. Mitt the candidate of the Corporate/Bank Raiders is just fine too. The strong Christian Family Values of South Carolina mean less to voters as the mission is to make Obama a one term President. At this point Satan could beat Obama in the Bible belt. Good news for the Banks who can't wait to get that second bailout once the new President is sworn in office. Mitt knows he has alot to keep secret about his taxes as off shore accounts are popular with taxpayers who have to pay full amount of taxes are go to jail. We see BOA about to foreclose on a woman's home only to learn it was the banks mistake. BOA said oops and made the correction but then told the homeowner to pay late fees added by the banks 7 month mistake. Banks gave without knowledge customers charge cards for over draft and then double billed them and used a great system of delay payment to assure the over draft.
After 4 weeks vacation the Congress is now taking a retreat to make sure everyone is on the same page to assure Obama has one term. No votes will be given for any job recovery as it will help voters elect a Republican if the voters are still suffering and the blame can go to Obama. Americans still don't realize it's the Congress who passes bills for the President to sign into law. The list of Representatives that work for the Koch Bros. was posted and wow they brought alot of Law Makers.
New Jersey Governor Christie is really busy as he has been on the campaign trail for Mitt Romney and now he's at the GOP retreat in Baltimore. It seems there's nothing to do in New Jersey and the State doesn't need a Governor. Now with Newt closing in Mitt has the help of all the Republican Governors as they campaign for Mitt and Corporate/Bank Raiders team. Newt has billionaire funding, Mitt has Corporate/Bank funding and Obama has 1 million Americans giving 50 dollars as the President campaigns like President Bush did. Funny many feel Obama shouldn't be allowed to campaign for donations and should be working but with the Congress no in DC, it's hard to work while other elected officials aren't in the State even after a 4 week vacation. Speaker Boehner will have more retreats during this year to assure nothing get done by Congress.
have a great day all
Lester, President Obama is a talented singer, but Etta James was a hard act to follow. She was great, great, great!
I noticed that she was linked with Chuck Berry and Muddy Waters, which BTW Muddy was my nickname at GE.because I was a big fan of him and those guys in the Transportation Dept. had never heard of Muddy Waters
Hope to catch you later on Dateline!
Good Evening Mr.Williams and Mr.Holt, a fine broadcast as always on a Friday evening. Looking forward to your moderating of the GOP Debate from Florida on Monday evening Mr.Williams. I'm sure it will be another spirited debate. Much turmoil in the last few days within many campaigns and one wonders which candidate will eventually come out ahead in all the primaries coming up in the following weeks. One would hope all the debates and candidates will focus on the issues instead of all the attacks. It never seems to end when campaigns get into full swing and the field of candidates begins to narrow.
As with the first reports about the upcoming South Carolina Primary tomorrow it showed how the frontrunners keep changing in each primary. Time will tell.
On another note the report by Michelle Kosinski about search for bodies at the shipwreck of the Costa Concordia showed how the divers have been forced to halt their seaches due to the ship shifting on the rocks. Seeing some of the wreckage under the water was eerie and reminds one of the shipwreck of the "Titanic" It was heartbreaking to see the flowers placed on the water by the families in memory of their lost loved ones. One hopes the divers can continue the search for the 21 missing people in the shipwreck. Thoughts and prayers go out to all the families. So very sad.
Sad to learn the passing away of singer, Etta James. She certainly had an iconic voice and sang with much passion. Always hitting the right notes. She will be greatly missed.
Sad and tragic the loss of 6 US Marines in a crash in Helmund Province in Afghanistan.
Thank You for the broadcast Mr.Williams and Mr.Holt. Have a great weekend! Peace to You and to All!
Be Well Everyone!
Stay Extra,Extra Safe and Well Richard!
Take Extra,Extra Good Care Richard and Crew!

Lester thanks for showing the clip of President Obama singing one of my favorite Al Green's songs. Obama was 11 years old when that song was released but the President can't dance but he can carry a tune well. The history of the stage President Obama stood on his the history of the greatest artist. I was lucky in 1968 as I saw Etta James in concert at the Apollo and at the end of the show the weekly talent contest winners performed and these 5 little kids were the Jackson 5.
Jackie, I think the rhythm is waiting to come out of President Obama and if he practices in his spare time
he can do Michael Jackson's Moon Walk to his song "Dirty Diana". Christmas a year ago Lesley and her
niece Shelby danced to Jackson's "The Experience" and it was exciting to watch them. As we said in
the 50's "Might as well can't dance" Have a nice weekend. Phyllis
