The propagandist sitting around the Morning Joe Show? If so who can really blame him? He should have mooned them.

Mika would have probably enjoyed the mooning better. Good one Dave!!!!!!!

Dave, In one WW2 novel I remember reading that when PM Winston Churchill flashed the Victory sign to

the American soldiers, they gave him the finger. My brother dismissed it because it was a work of fiction

but only in fiction can the truth be told. Anyway, maybe the middle finger was a sign of respect because

of the French, etc. Who knows? However if they had mooned him there would be no doubt.

All bets are off. The "flipping of the bird" dates back to the French-British conflicts where the merciless

French would cut off the middle finger of the British captured soldier's hand to disable him from ever being

able to pull the bow effectively and so every time the two met in battle, the British would "flip the bird" to

the French to show they still had their middle finger, and how is this then such an embarrassing moment

for Chuck when he was simply gesturing that he is anything but disabled by his opponent.? Just asking,

justBFair? Have a nice day all!!! Phyllis

Phyllis, If Ed Henry of Fox News had done this, it would be the lead story on every MSM news cast. Some where we have to start with the fairness.

justBfair, If a deal is not reached by December 31, 2011, Louisville will no longer get NBC Programs which,

of course, include Local News and Nightly News. This news flashed acrossed our screen while my husband and

I were watching Nightly News. Ironic, huh?

After two years with nothing done to help with Jobs/Recover the Economy the Law Makers have been more busy naming post offices and other nonsense. With few days on session and the need to campaign. Grover Norquist put all the Law Makers who signed his pledge on notice, don't break the pledge or your out. We see if taxpayers want a tax break/if unemployed don't wont their benefits cut, the President will have to sign a bill with added funding included by the Law Makers. Much like blackmail as included in the bill is billions in pork for States and the pipeline that could be worse then Alaska, Louisiana and Texas. With so many States at risk it would be wise to make sure of safety because an accident destroying much of the heartland of the USA.

Not good news for Rep. Cantor as Time person of the years is OWS Protesters and Prophet Paul Ryan with is fake Health care plan was on the list. A few wondered why the Tea Party wasn't even on the list. With much of the same message OWS Protester went Global and effected every single American in some way with this Recession. I wrote my Congressman asking why for over two years and our city has a high unemployment and the highest amount of illegal foreclosure why he only felt the important bills were naming post offices. Congress is adding on pork for States and pipeline blackmail might work if Obama gives up on the people.

As for the low per centage of marriages well we have our Law Makers as examples to follow. Many current Law Makers who are Statesmen have married their mistresses. We see Law Makers like former Senator Ensign even resign rather then give up his girlfriend. We even have candidates running for President who have 13 year affairs with their mistresses but hold the shield of Religious values, a candidate who has three wives each two mistresses he married and looking for number 4. As each secret life comes out we see our leaders have either a mistress or their gay. Wonder if you really know who you voted for.

                have a great day

Good Evening Mr.Williams, a great broadcast as always this evening. Always wonderful to see Richard on the broadcast. Many changes to Iraq over the years of the war and now after the US Troops are leaving the area. Much Iranian influence which could be good and bad as the years progress.

Richard's report from Iraq told of how there is much Iranian influence due to the Shiites being in power. Seeing the worshippers at the Shiite mosque overwhelmed to tears as they had been oppressed by Saddam's rule for so long and now are in control. The 400 million dollar renovation of the domes now in gold was incredible along with all the tour groups coming into Iraq as never been able to under Saddam. But as Richard showed Falujah did not show any signs of progress or renovation as it is still a very violent area as three policemen were killed today and the building where Richard stood remained destroyed. The Shiites feel there life has been destroyed and one man in the Baghdad does not want the US troops to leave. The region is at war with itself and one hopes for peace someday.

The report by Kristen Welker showeing President Obama welcoming the US Troops home from Iraq was nice. It is wonderful the US Troops are coming home and especially during the holidays. Over 1.5 million haver served in Iraq and tragically 4500 soldiers have been lost in the war. As President Obama stated it is not a victory, but a promise kept to bring home the US Troops to end the War in Iraq. So many brave men and women who served in Iraq and still serve in Afghanistan. We honor and salute every one of them.

Very poignant for Time Magazine to chose the Protestor as Person of the Year. A good choice.

A cute baby seal who found its way into a home in New Zealand.

The piece "The Homefront' by Mr.Potter about Tim Blake, the "stay at home father" who holds down the fort at home with four children while his wife Lt. Col. Devon Blake serves in Afghanistan and Kuwait. He is doing a great job keeping a steady routine and spending quality time with the children. Also, writing a blog about military families. It is wonderful Lt Col Devon Blake came home this week. Reunited with her family fro the holidays.

Thank You for the broadcast Mr.Williams. Peace to You and to All!

                  Be Well Everyone!

Stay Extra,Extra Safe and Well Richard! Excellent Reporting as Always!

Take Extra,Extra Good Care Richard and Crew!

i am happy for our soldiers that are coming home. went to dinner with friends and one has a husband who is a contractor deployed in kuwait working with teams that are refurbishing the equipment from iraq that will now go to afghanistan. oh, if only future/past electrical transformers and generators buried under the sands of babylon/assyria would now rise up out of the desert and dust themselves off to enter service once again maybe iraq could get their electrical power grid up and running. no electrical means no water from the wells for the farmers, for drinking, cooking and bathing and no cooling respite from the sizzling summer heat or cold desert night and oh, so many other things. iraq needs to be busy growing and not wasting human life or time fighting over the little. waiting to see what jobs await our soldiers who are leaving the military. hoping that ptsd doesn't set in and run more lives amuck. happy for the children whose parent is coming home! that jubilation, alone, should make a big difference in the happiness equation in our country! best, anna martina
