What we're following:
- Santa Ana winds slam Los Angeles
- Pakistan questions its role in U.S. war on terror
- Nation's food banks taxed by long-term joblessness
And did you see...
- Secret software tracks smartphone users
- Former Gov. Bill Richardson under investigation for possible campaign-finance violations
- Burger King changes french fry recipe for first time since 1998

Japan did the same thing as Pakistan as concerns terrorism in that part of the world. Japan asked the
U.S. to open a full investigation into the facts of 9/11 to their satisfaction in order for their continued
support. Pakistan because of their geography should not be held to a higher standard than Japan.
Did Japan know something we did not know? Just asking!!!
As the House/CCongress/Senate members have often said pay to play is legal for them on the Hill. Richardson was headlined before but never charge and as far as paying of sexual harassment or girlfriends the RNC admitted even paying childsupport for members. You would are the laws for the chosen few.
The millions of unemployed are told to brush up on their skills and everyone does a background check. Law Makers say Americans should get trained for jobs or accept what they can for right now. But here's the real deal, if your a criminal you can get a job quick. New York City Comptroller John Liu hired Kevin Davis the former chief executive of MF Global. Davis under investigation for crimes in pension department as the head manger, now the head manager of New York City Pension Fund. Much like putting the Fox in the Hen house. Next we will see Bernie Madoff will be appointed the Fed Chief.
Herman Cain announced he will go home to have a face to face talk with this wife about his 13 year friendship with Ginger. Taking the cowards way out Cain will most likely say he's leaving the race because of his wife/family rather then admit to the truth. We see that often with powerful men who can't man up.
Chase vs 104 year old Vita Lee. Chase ready to evict the woman from her home of 53 years. Just how low will the Banks go and how long will elected officials allow it to happen. We see Banksters with taxpayers bonus money and lying under oath as even no one cares that soldiers overseas are illegally having their homes foreclosed, even breaking the Federal Law, but just say We support our Troops.
Hillary made History again. It was good to see Hillary with SuuKyias we see the building of peace. Obama/Clinton team sees a crack in the door and are taking it to get cooperation from the Asian countries. The jackpot will be North Korea and it looks like that could happen next. Few Americans understand or care about the importance of this visit. Most are to busy looking at the scandals or insane comments by Law Makers and candidates. Obama is focused and moving along carefully to bring the respect and leadership the US was before 2000. President Obama said when he was selected the DNC nominee for President, he quickly went to Hillary Clinton as his Secretary of State. Just think if the McCain/Palin ticket had won we would not see any of the success/removal of Dictators or even the fighting for Jobs/Economy as McCain said nothing would change when he is President. We would still be in Afghanistan/Iraq and we would be at War with Iran for Israel.
Mass. AG is sticking to the Banks and look for other honest State AG's to follow. Iowa AG Miller is now in trouble as he promised the Banks he could get the other States to follow an agreement. Banks oftered 20 billion to be shared by all 50 States for the crimes/fraud committed in agreement that the Banks would be exempted from all fraud documents/ illegal robo signing/ lost of deeds and other forms of no paper work to prove ownership. So far NY, Ca, Nv./Del./Mass./Ill./NC/Conn. aren't selling out their State citizens as the Banks got 8 trillion dollars from the Fed Chief Greenspan/US Treasury Secretary Paulsonand later 700 billion in bailout aka bonus money. As a Nevada reporter investigate a bank fraud done on several citizens he learned he had brought his home in a foreclosure from the Bank and he now doesn't own it because all the documents were fraud. Time for homeowners to check out their homes and if they have been scammed by the banks.
See you same time same place
This Mass. AG is looking to make a name for herself. And back then WJC and GWB were pushing
for homes to sell because of the bad economy. My daughter Lesley is a Home Mortgage
Consultant with Wells Fargo and does a bang up job and is more bang for the buck and the
buck stops with the President. They are looking for somebody to blame, looking for a
scapegoat!!! and they should be looking in a rearview mirror
We will wake up one morning soon to the news that despite the best efforts of these miserable failures in NY and DC that our dollar is worthless and our economy is toast. Then they'll offer us two crappy non choices. Kind of like this up coming election bahahahahahaha
Phyllis you should be proud of your daughter and I'm sure she is doing an honest job but she is not an Executive of Wells Fargo Bank.
A 50-state coalition of attorneys general and bank supervisors along with the Obama administration are also in talks with the nation's five largest mortgage firms -- Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Citigroup and Ally Financial -- to resolve allegations of wrongful foreclosures and improper mortgage practices. Fines could reach up to $30 billion, according to people familiar with the matter.
The NAACP said Thursday it has settled a lawsuit that accused Wells Fargo& Co. of steering African American borrowers unfairly into costly subprime mortgages while providing loans with lower fees and interest rates to white borrowers in similar financial circumstances.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The U.S. Treasury Department is investigating whether Bank of America, Wells Fargo and eight other major banks may have illegally foreclosed on about 4,500 active-duty servicemen and women.

Many of the soldiers who turned home learned of what happen as the Banks illegally foreclosed. Check out the Military website that published the H.R. 100 Servicemembers Civil Relief Act that if violated it prosecutes Banks with one year in jail as it was signed on December 2003 by President Bush.

Of interest perhaps, I read that Newt Gingrich blames the government for the mortgage crisis
I am not a fan of Newt at the moment but if he does not flip flop he mayl get my vote. The personal
is political with me.
Yes Jackie I am very proud of Lesley and I wish AG Jack Conway would hear her out; they are
Time Twins, and they both could learn from each other.
Brian no need to interview Law Makers anymore because your getting second/third hand news and it might make us understand why the Media is so late with the news.
Norquist met with Republican members today to let them know that opposing the extension of the payroll tax cut — which would provide many families an extra $1,000 a year — would not amount to supporting a tax increase, National Journal’s Billy House reported today
Now Voters know the GOP has a President who instructs the members on what they will do. We might need to build another White House for Norquist and his Pakistan wife. Many had wondered by 96 per cent of the elected House/Congress/Senate had to sign Grover Norquist pledge back in 1992 until today. Why all the candidate running for President signed the pledge. Why the Law Makers couldn't explain their position as now we know they were waiting for their boss to tell them. Norquist has 96 per cent of Republican and all the Tea Party law makers but does have some Democrats too. At lease we know President Obama is really running against GOP President Grover Norquist not one of the candidates.
wow, we're getting slammed by those santa ana winds down here in sierra vista, az, as well. they usually come in early spring and stay around for a long while, not with the damage that california has experienced, though. such wind brings highly charged negative ions, they can cause depression in those prone to such things, taking a bath vs. taking a shower is recommended, it grounds the ions. epsom salts, some nice essential oils with shea butter oil and sweet almond oil, a good handful of oatmeal, i put an iron and potassium gluconate tablet in there as well for minerals with 4 bags of black tea, a spritz of witch hazel and some suave coconut shampoo for the bubbles. with a little classical music, a great way to wrap up the day. got my little hand-me-down macbook from my sister, i am looking forward to switching out my desk with that neat, compact unit as opposed to the large cpu and old monitor with the pink screen that i now have, although they have been great workhorses for several years. put my picture and music files in dropbox and will pick them up this week-end:-) now if i can just figure out my dishwasher situation, i will be a happy woman, i will have clean counters for the first time in years! it looks like a new portable dishwasher, i don't think the one from the parents' house is going to be working after sitting in 4" of water for two weeks last winter when the pipes burst with the electrical motor on the bottom. plus, in my tiny kitchen, i would displace pots and pans storage with the install. so, GE, here i come again, my new washing machine is a GE, too. best, anna martina
anna martina, I think you will like your new GE washing machine. I also have a new one and new
GE dryer as well. Of course, I am biased being in the GE family Hey, if my novel doesn't work out,
maybe my back up plan will be to take in wash:o) Best, Phyllis
hi, phyllis, i love my GE washing machine with the hydrowave technology. it makes cool woooshing sounds that really do sound like waves:-) really looking forward to getting my dishwasher, i will feel like a new woman! it's depressing to look at kitchen counters that have even a few dirty dishes on them! and when i have cooked and i have all of those pots and pans, eeeeek! at least they're rinsed. kyle's birthday is right around the corner, i hope he gets an extra gift or two:-) of course, Gifts of the Spirit are the best! blessings, anna martina
Good Evening Mr.Williams, a fine broadcast as always this evening.
First of all the report by Mr.Almaguer from Pasadena about the Santa Ana winds certainly showed some powerful winds causing much damage in bringing down power lines, trees and damage to homes. Hearing the winds were around 80-100 mph in their gusts was incredible and one really hopes the winds calm very soon and power is restored to the 340,000 people in the area. Much extreme weather this year in terms of dangerous conditions. One hopes for calmer weather.
The report by Ian Williams from Yangon about Secretary of State Clinton's visit to Myanmar showed how historic the trip. Secretary Clinton the highest ranking official to go to Myanmar and meeting with Aung Suu Kyi, a Nobel Prize winner who had been persecuted for 22 years because of her pursuit for democracy was remarkable. Secretary Clinton wanting to see the changes that have happened in the region and welcoming even more reforms. One can agree it was surreal for them to meet in a Capital that was once off limits. Aung Suu Kyi's run for parliament could help in bringing more reforms to the region.
Your interview wiith Bono on the subject of the 30th anniversary of the discovery of the aids virus told of how much progress has been made in finding a way to end this disease. Encouraging and good news in terms of saving lives by helping people receive medicine early. A turning point has been reached.
The piece by Anne Thompson about the auction of Elizabeth Taylor's jewelry and many other things revealed an extravagant and exquisite collection of jewels. Stunning diamond, emerald and ruby, necklaces and earrings along with all the other dresses and memorabilia. A remarkable life of Elizabeth Taylor and this auction will certainly bring in alot of money.
Thank You for the broadcast Mr.Williams. Peace to You and to All!
