On another network Sunday night, Lesley Stahl interviewed GE's Jeff Immelt who

is a great CEO but the onus is on him to create jobs in America and Appliance

Park, Louisville, Ky. would be the right place to start -- restore it to its heyday. Why

not? If any corporate leader can pull it off, its Mr. Immelt.

I like how they tried to pass him off as a Republican. For the people who build their BS outrage on lies that will be enough. It's not my parties fault, it's that other party's so someone owes me!!! freaking please.

Yes, I was surprised about the Republican remark, but I remember when GWB was

president., there was a call for Immelt to be Vice President (Louisville Courier Journal) and I think he would have been better than Cheney though I have

nothing against Cheney, personally -- but I like Jeff Immelt better As in all

things, it's only a preference. And Mr. Immelt would make a good VP now.

Not that I have anything against Biden, personally. etc. Have a nice day

Missed Andy this week on 60 minutes I wished he had stayed for his 5 minutes of laughs.

Jeff Immelt knows he is an employee and is truly working hard for his shareholders and not the American people. Jeff became CEO in 2000 and did such a bad job for his shareholders he had to sale parts of GE to Comcast. After the shareholder watch Jeff's devotion and lack of leadership he might be brushing off his resume. I suggest Jeff buy Steve Jobs's book on how to be a good CEO and take care of the people too. Jeff saw the Occupy Wall Street protesters and one of them might be the person to replace him.

Really a hot dog tossed at Tiger Woods isn't news it's more like TMZ.

The talk shows were so funny this weekend. I read on Grio that Herman Cain attended Morehouse College where Dr. King often visited. Seems Herman Cain wasn't really interested in the Marches or the Civil Rights Movement or even getting a chance to speak with Dr. King himself. Cain says in his book that he didn't really think much of it and just did his school work and stayed out of trouble. Cain did benefit from the success of the movement that millions of black/white marched for and even black/whites died for minorities to have equality. I will always remember and be grateful to a white housewife name Viola Liuzzo who went to the south to help people register to vote and was killed by the KKK. I took special interest in her because her name was the same as my grandmother Viola. Americans of ever State watched and showed support for the movement while a few fought to stop it. A friend said it was the Republican Party that fought for Civil Rights but alot of history gets changed as we have seen with the candidates running for President. What's good is when you lived that history and didn't need to be told what happen that way you can't get tricked. So much happen and even Lydon Johnson knew by passing the Civil Rights Bill he would never get elected for office again. Several Law Makers spoke out against the Bill and many from the South protested. But the thing I think that got the bill pass for Johnson to sign into Law was the assassination of President Kennedy. The paid of seeing a beloved US President assassinated on Nov. 22, 1963 caused so much pain the it soften the hearts of many who spilled hate and 8 months later the Civil Rights Bill was pass and signed into Law. We talked about it in school and as young people we knew this Bill would have failed if it wasn't for the horror of President Kennedy being assassinated on US soil. His death showed all Americans what the results of hate/racism brings as it comes in many forms. Even Sarah Palin with her gun targets said she had no idea that phase would led to the shooting of a Congresswoman and the death of so many people. Words matter and their are consequences. Herman Cain lived in a time the US was making history and leaders were so of the best we've had. The good thing about US history is many don't even know President Obama is the fifth bi-racial President the USA has elected. Some who don't read history call him the first. It would be nice for Americans to read up on our countries History it is great.

Many remember the limited talk about Fast and Furious as it was listed secret under the Patriot Act. Not much was said because Cheney felt it was part of National Security. But they did say it was named for that 2001 movie Fast and Furious. Even President Bush loved the TV show 24 he wanted to meet Jack Bauer and even the CIA used torture shown in the TV show series. When filming the show in DC Kiefer Sutherland was given the invitation to meet the President but the name used was Jack Bauer and Kiefer declined saying Jack Bauer is a characternot a person. As many secret mission were listed as National Security and under the Patriot Act, this might be something Rep. Issa should leave alone. PBS showed CIA who spoke of many orders and false information that Vice President Cheney wanted to justify much of his criminal activity. Even our troops have expressed their view now that we have a new President. So much has been done over the 8 year crime wave and none of it is good. I always thought Nixon should have paid for his crimes but now I understand somethings could destroy our country if they ever came out and no criminal President is worth it.

        have a great day all

To Brian and the staff take note the Occupy Wall Street is not only in every State but it's gone Global and nothing at all like the small group of Tea Party protesters. The issue is deeper then anything other protesters have spoken out about. This is a modern day US Revolution but due to the new World Economy this is a Global problem. We watched the 5 major Banks speak like their banks are only US banks but we know these 5 blood sucking Banks are Global blood suckers and we were warned but didn't listen. For the young staffer please read the following it will explain what you are seeing today:

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.

          3rd president of US (1743 - 1826)

Good Evening Mr.Williams, A great broadcast as always this evening. Happy Columbus Day! Always wonderful to see Richard on the broadcast. Sadly, there were issues with satellite feed. Richard's reports from Cairo have truly showed how the revolution and toppling of Mubarek has caused some terrible violence in recent days. One hopes things begin to calm, but only time will tell.

First of all Richard's report from Cairo showed how upsrings of violence are exploding again within the city streets. As Richard reported the transition was supposed to bring better times for the people, but the Christians which make up 10% of the population are being attacked by Muslim government forces. The burning of the Christian church was tragic and the attacks on the streets of Cairo with the army firing upon the people and killing 25 along with several hundred wounded is horrible. Seeing the two young men in the hospital one haveing been shot and the other hit by a truck certainly revealed how the army will stop at nothing to keep the protestors off the streets demanding a better system. The State TV obviously denying what is happening by airing other things on the tv even while clashes are going on outside the building. It is tragic after so many days of revolution and some promise of a new government. One hopes there will be some peace for these people. Hopefully, in the coming days.

Excellent Reporting as Always Richard! Please Stay Extra,Extra Safe!

The report by Mara Schiavocampo showed how the protest movement on Wall Street and in other parts of New York along with many cities in the nation is constantly growing. The terrible economic times have effected everyone and to see so many people gathered of all ages it is incredible. It is amazing the support from businesses too like Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream. It is truly having an effect and one hopes for better times ahead.

The report by Mr.Costello about whether electronic devices on airplanes interfere with take off and landings seem to reveal they have some effect on the systems. So many people with electronic devices and it seemed to tell in the report it is safer to have them turned off. Always keeping everyone safe while in flight.

The piece by Mr.Allen about "Nick's Pizza" and how the owner was facing foreclosure was very moving. Sending the email the his customers who told many others to come showed how people have so much heart to help others. So sweet to see the little four year old girl give him money from her piggybank. One hopes he stays in business.

Thank You for the broadcast Mr.Williams. Peace to You and to All!

            Be Well Everyone!

Stay Extra,Extra Safe and Well Richard! Excellent Reporting as Always!

Take Extra,Extra Good Care Richard and Crew!

Regarding the segment with the Dr. about women taking too many vitamins and antioxidants, I’m in total agreement with her comments, you have to be aware of your own physical situation and not following the latest infomercial or perhaps taking the same things your friends and/or family is taking. Since we now have the internet, this is the age of the informed patient.

since we now have the internet, this is the age of the informed everything. egads. i just found out that taking 50mg of zinc a day can adversely affect what copper is doing in your cells, the recommended amount of TOTAL zinc, including what is in your diet is 40mg a day, so i cut the 50mg tablets in half. that VERY HOT bath last night with a good dose of epsom salts surely did help my lower back, which felt like my pelvis was peppered with bullet holes, egads again! i should have done that the night before! during a high manic, i once threw my mom's bottle of calcium tablets, prescribed by the doctor, down the toilet. my dad was mad because he had to buy some more. but she had ridiculously painful rheumatoid arthritis and a few small bone spurs. i told dad she had way too much calcium going on in her body, she didn't need to be taking a calcium supplement. a couple of months later, her doctor dropped the calcium supplement. personally, i think arthritis is too many spirits in one body. they can jump on board because 99.9% of all of us humans are walking around with crippled psyches from the war between good and evil going on all around us every conscious minute. it beats you up. that probably explains diabetes and obesity, too. saying the 'Our Father' prayer every morning as soon as you get up, probably wouldn't hurt. and i'm sure there are equivalent prayers in every faith. best, anna martina
