Thanks to Janet Shamlian for her story on the plight of the American family. So many have tried to do the right thing to achieve the American dream, and now they have failed. We were taught to make our own bed, so to speak, but there are so many forces outside of a family's control today. But, we live in a cyclical society and hard work, discipline, and fortitude will be rewarded in the end.

Cann't we all just admit that in 2008, we hitched our wagon to the wrong horse, admit that we have blown 4 years whre we have all lost most of our savings and try to a better job of picking in 2012.

in Louisville sure do want the president to come to Louisville, and they are

vocal about it; his seeing the Sherman Minton Bridge for himself. I will

With the poor and unintelligent performances of the Tea Party candidates running for office and only one Republican ( Huntsman ) in the race, it seems the Koch Bros. will have to get the 5 paid US Supreme Court Justices to appoint the 2012 President. Now matter how much the GOP tell the American people they will do nothing to help with the economy or jobs, it seems the people love them for it.

I read the information on the trial of Troy Davis as the decision was made on witness testimony. I feel for the victims family as they demanded Davis die because of their love one. The Davis family asked for a stay to look deeper. Now many older Americans remember this case

The Scottsboro Boys were nine black teenage boys accused of rape in Alabama in 1931. The landmark set of legal cases from this incident dealt with racism and the right to a fair trial. The case includes a frameup, all-white jury, rushed trials, an attempted lynching, angry mob, and miscarriage of justice.

Money cases fixed and many innocent people killed. All I know is when the truth comes out about who really killed the officer many people will be again asking for justice. The officials family will want the real person executed and brush off the fact the wrong man was executed. The Davis Family will want Justice but the State/Justice Thomas will all say oops we made a mistake move on. Troy Davis case got the attention of the World and the US Justice System was out there for the World to see. Well we failed and no longer can our Justice System be called the model for the World. We forgot and Justice Thomas ignored the BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT that set up apart from all others.
