Well they say you make the same mistakes again if you don't learn from them. As a child in the 50's while traveling on the train to visit relatives in the South. I saw a man hanging from a tree with bugs eating his skin and flies all around him. Well surrounded by this scene were families enjoying a picnic and watching this horror. Now with Gov. Perry saying he doesn't lose any sleep when executing an innocent man and the cheers from the supporters, it seems we haven't learn at all. May God bless Troy Davis and may God have mercy on America.
Many Americans have their opinion of DADT but our troops are glad this injustice is over.
Some think Rupert Murdoch might be forced to step down and he's son wont get that top job. The smartest person in the group is Wendi Deng Murdoch. She set her young eyes on an old wealthy man and married him. She made sure her two child got their share of the Empire and she the wife. Now she could step in and take charge as China will be smiling as how 12 years earned her one of the largest Empires. Many woman marry for money but Wendi set out to be one of the most powerful woman in business and it worked. She is smart enough in business to turn News Corp. around but China will get the credit.
This headline must get alot of laughs
President Obama's diplomatic skills put to the test at UN
When Barack Obama entered the race for President it was a shock, he won the office of President and made history. He spoke at area's no American has been allowed. He won the Nobel Peace Prize, he captured Osama Bin Laden and has been an inspiration to people all over the world. Each leader of the UN wants a picture with the US President and want to shake his hand. What does this President have to do to be credited for what he's done already. The polls show low numbers for this President. Yet every picture the Media show of the President when he travels there are thousands of people rushing to see him. A poll of 1000 and we see every State show thousands come to see the President. Remember the shocker the Media got with the Obama vs McCain election. The election was over on Eastern standard time because Obama has already got the electoral votes on the West Coast with write in votes.
see you same time same place
President Obama must be doing something right in that he has occurred the wrath of The Straw Men, that ancient society know to some as the Illumanati. And where does Perry get off blowing into town and accusing the president of appeasing the Palenstians You just don't accuse somebody of something. You just don't.Quoting from The Atlantic Monthly, "I don't think there's any doubt that the region as a whole is in the midst of a big transformation but Oh, we don't have to have a huge omnibus solution to this." Maybe a two-state solution but I am not an expert on the Middle East just read good books, etc. to compensate flunkiing history in my junior year of high school.
It is so embarrassing to see Gov. Perry again make a fool of himself. At lease he gives the Foreign World Leaders a laugh. The Tea Party candidate Perry has no idea what he's saying as to Palestine and Israel.
Perry Fundamentally Misunderstands The Concept Of A Two-State Solution
Its one thing to have the circus clowns perform at the Debates but for one of them to show up in New York to try and disrupt the UN meeting with ignorant comments. Ok the US is a friend of Israel but that doesn't mean everything Israel does the US has to follow. We have given them aid since 1947 but in no way should the US bow to Israel like a puppet. Over the years the US has given Israel large funding in aid, WMD's and illegal cluster bombs. Israel should start standing up on their own and deal with the changes that are taking place in the Middle East. It might help Gov. Perry if he tried reading up on Foeign policies and events before mouthing off attacks on President Obama. As reported Texas has big problems with no Governor to handle the problems.
The family were blessed to get help but with no one working on the economic recovery or jobs, we will see many more families like this one.
Tony has only said what so many have said before but the truth isn't easy to accept in the USA. The truth will come out when all the parties involved are dead. It was clear in 1999 what direction our country was going to go with the push to impeach Clinton and the fixed Presidential election. If the 2008 Presidential race had be close the US Supreme Court would have appointed McCain. Now it seems the Koch Bros are building their terrorist team State by State and elected Law Maker by elected Law Maker. What's sad is there is only one Republican running for President and that's Huntsman. The rest of the field are working for Corporations/Banks and the Koch Bros and their Tea Party.
have a good evening all
Good Evening Mr.Williams, A fine broadcast this evening as always. Certainly important issues being discussed this week at the UN General Assembly with the gathering of all the World Leaders of the UN. One hopes progress will be made with these issues and peaceful resolutions. Time will tell as the week progresses.
The report about the repeal of DADT is truly historic for the US Military. Ending 18 years of discrimination. A historic day of change.
The "Making A Difference" segment by Chris Jansing about the family is Texas helping out the family in Florida in these awful economic times was extremely inspirational. Kind and genererous people helping others.
A nice piece!
Thank You for the broadcast Mr.Williams. Many great reports! Peace to You and to All!
Be Well Everyone!
Stay Extra,Extra Safe and Well Richard!
Take Extra,Extra Good Care Richard and Crew!
Lisa
Brian, a good broadcast, and I am appalled by Perry channeling his drama
Queen. Now that Paletinian leader Abbas has called the bluff of the U.N.
and Israel and acted like a "Palestinian leader" in pursuing a homeland for
his people at the United Nations--the very "two-state solution" that the
United States has publicly supported--all of a sudden, the Israeli
Government has decided it's time for peace talks. And, of course,
as everyone knows, if Mr. Abbas gives in to U.N. pressure and the
vote on Palestinian state is postponed the Israeli government will
return to its previous policy of intransigence and yet another
"peace scare" will have been contained. I am sorely disappointed in
the Prime Minister of Israel and thinking he is not the man I thought he
was.
