Ann.

A great interview with the president of Iran before the UN Meeting in New York

on Monday and Tuesday. You may not want to go there, but I just learned

that Israel will boycott the UN Racism Meeting which I hope is not a

fundamental racism in the world. God forbid! but what better place to address it.

Sincerely

PS, Hopefully, a final effort at the U.N. Contrary to what some argue,

the U.N. has rarely thwarted American initiatives. And the Stars, etc.

will be awesomely aligned like May 5, 2000 when our beloved daughter was married.

Finally, resolving the crisis through the Security Council would avoid

damaging the effectiveness of the U.N. or its relationship with

America. The nations' leaders would not then be damaged goods, in a manner

    of speaking.

Is it out of the realm of possiblity that they could meet halfway? Just

asking! Have a nice weekend all!

reminds me of the book 'the haj' by leon uris where it was all too apparent that women were considered chattel and you were damaged goods if you had been defiled, even if it was rape.

I have that book and I will have to skim through it very soon; I must say,

anna martina, you are well-read. Maybe Sunday or Monday. I forget

the plot now - many years since I have read it. Phyllis

i had soren kierkegard's 'eithor/or' at one point in time and joseph campbell's anthology of carl jung. carl jung went into psychoanalysis because that was as close as he could get to the study of the supernatural and paranormal. i also had the oxford press sir thomas malory 'la morte de'arthur' in the old english. i gave the kierkegard and malory away to a hotel desk clerk in mesa, arizona during my manic run of winter '94/spring '95, darn. the joseph campbell did as a big a number on my brain as al gore's 'earth in the balance' does whenever i pick it up to read another few pages. wayyyy too much information in just a few pages!!! i shared my copy of carl sagan's 'forgotten ancestors' with my psychiatrist and he said it was slow going, it was very deep. i didn't get that back for a long while. people don't read anymore, phyllis, which accounts for those low SAT reading scores. their loss. they are limiting where their spirit and soul will go and the quality of life that they will lead in their earthly sojourn. reading keeps you above the fray and saves your sanity! again, their loss. best, anna martina

Brian the mission was in plan on Jan. 2009 to make sure Obama/USA fail. The voters agreed in 2010 as they gave the GOP the majority in the House/Congress. Congress has not allowedeconomic bills to be made law. Few Americans or Law Makers understand even understand how a bill becomes law. A President doesn't make/vote bills and it's sad many Law Makers and Americans and even candidates are clueless to how our Government is run. But it does explain why our country is ranked so low in education Internationally.

Brian you spoke to the President about the suffering of black Americans during this Recession. We have come a long way from the 1940's I remember as a child. President Obama is a black and white man but he's is a President to all the people. Many are suffering and picking a race isn't American. I do agree Blacks have now seeing a chance for the American Dream that wasn't offered 50 years ago. Our educated teachers are going overseas and our Presidential candidates are circus clowns with little to know knowledge of our American History or how our Government works. I think of our soldiers who work together without race being an issue to assure the mission is done. It's not the President's fault for the none recovery when we see voters elect law makers who are brought and paid for by corporations, banks and Wall Street. Voting No for over two years and continuing to block/stall recovery is our elected officials fault. FDR had to fight the Law Makers for the American people to recover from the Great Depression. But it was the American people of all races that banded together to help FDR. People today really don't know what poor is as there is much more today then the pass.

Texas will be executing another possible innocent men but it seems that's really common as we hear people cheer at the Republican/Tea Party Debate. Gov. Perry is reaching out for the Christian votes as he takes pride in his executions. Makes you wonder what are American Christian morals now.

Thank you Officer Meyer for protecting all Americans and we honor all of our soldiers who served. Many Americans forget how many of our brave fallen soldiers come home. It was a surprise that the elected officials of Kentucky had no praise to the home town Medal of Honor winner. But the rest of America says job well done and thanks.

              have a great evening all

hi, jackie, maybe all of these people that the christians insist on resurrecting don't even have an elementary school education, that would explain alot, including the popularity of the tea party. the need to educate these people before they bring them into the mainstream and i mean years of education. resurrection isn't a toy and life isn't a game. those that take our god-given life lightly deserve to go to extinction, poe's 'the house of usher'. just because they think they figured something out doesn't mean they have a win. time is circumvoluted. there are many tests and many failsafes. thank god. our troops were crash-coursed on all of the above in iraq and afghanistan. they give people enough rope to hang themselves when they come back state-side. the wheat is being separated from the chaff. many are going to what the yaqui indian tribe calls 'the yoania'. the unreality. best, anna martina

The Tea Party is not my cup of tea; pun intended. Anna martina you are

an ecletic(ms?) reader and I am impressed. I took a fall Saturday

and am bruised banged up so I will respond to your interesting comments

                  later.

ouch! if you have inflammation, advil liquid gels work faster than other pain meds. when i twisted my ankle and broke my foot several years ago and it was black and blue to mid-calf and VERY painful, my son, who used to run track and got this advice from his running coach, had me taking 3 advil liquid gels at a time. i didn't and didn't and didn't and finally, on a day that i was crying from the pain, i did and OMG, i should have listened to my son! i felt human again after that! i couldn't afford to go to the emergency room. luckily, my sister had the wonderful boot/brace from when she broke HER foot. i was massaging my foot and calf several x a day with eucalyptus essential oil. rest up and take it easy! we are not the spring chickens that we used to be!

Brian, thanks for coverage on the young Marine and his Medal of Honor. Governor

Beshear in his remarks on local news said all from Kentucky should be humbled

by his bravery. He is a geniune hero. I was so moved also by the young survivor and his rescue.

Lester's report on President Obama and blacks was interesting. I agree

with him pretty much but I think there is still racism because I overheard

the comment "they want what they can't have." and I was shocked by her

                        inhumanity.

I bet you or Nancy get a lot of negative feedback linking cancer with

oral sex. Maybe, it's the whip cream:o) Seriously, I doubt it.

                        Such an adorable, cute cat.

You and Lester are both Fashion plates And great journalists, too.

                        Kudos to you both.

                        Have a nice evening.

Good Evening Mr.Williams, A great broadcast this evening as always.

The report by Dr.Nancy Snyderman about the HPV virus and other cancers was disturbing and certainly brings awareness to the need of children around or under the age of twelve to be vaccinated. Hearing from the mother of three who was diagnosed with cancer of the tonsil even though she was genuinely healthy does raise some questions. The symptoms of sore throat, difficulty swallowing and ear aches can be telling signs, but it one would not think of cancer. It appears the vaccination has positive results and it safe. One hopes that many people will be helped by getting vaccinated early.

Troubling numbers in the economy with prices of everything having gone up. Gas, food all up and then added to that problem the unemployment rate it is awful for so many people.

Hearing the reports by Kelly O'Donnell and Mr.Todd showed that both parties need to stop arguing and try to pass a jobs bill to help Americans get back to work.

The report by Mr.Gray from Texas showed how heartbreaking it is for families to return to what is left of their homes after the massive wildfires. Lifetimes have been ruined and seeing families sifting through the rubble of their homes was heartwrenching. All struggling to put the pieces of their lives back together. Ones thoughts and prayers go out to all the families effected by the terrible wildfires.

Great to see the calico cat named "Willow" from a home in Boulder, Colorado found in New York after being lost for five years. Amazing journey! Looking pretty healthy too. It is wonderful news for the family.

Wonderful to see Dakota Meyer, a US Marine being awarded with the Medal of Honor. A courageous and brave US Marine. A true hero.

Thank You for thev broadcast Mr.Williams. Peace to You and to All!

                          Be Well Everyone!

wish her the best. Still going to Portland? Phyllis
