Hi Brian,

I watch your show almost every night - I have a question about your show Sunday night Sept 4, 2011 you were off that night and a segment aired about the job and building Boom in Williston N. Dakota - Baken OIl Boom - I have read about this and want to know why Pres. Obama doesn't mention this when talking about his jobs quest - it would really give people hope! To mention they have plenty of jobs in this area and I could make jibs available in other areas too.

I have sent 3 letters telling them about this Oil Boom - no answer to my questiions....maybe you can mention it to him - thanks so much....Sheryl

Brian, I am heartened that the two hikers will be released soon but it

distressed me when the President of Iran also said Iran will never recognize Israel.

Never say never, right? Neither America or Iran wants to see Talbain return

to power which gives us common interest.

Perry said his views on Social Security were in the public domain before him

and he was right. In a back issue of Harper's: June 1998: Global Roulette:

,,,,,,,In a Volatile World Economy,Everyone Can Lose: The Sham of

Saving Social Security First (yes, my house looks like the Library of Congress,

and my New Year's Resolution will be to clean house in a manner of speaking)

In the article, perhaps of interest as well, The redirection of U.S. foreign

policy would have to extend far beyond eastern Asia into Russia--to secure

an active Russian participation in the containment of China." which would

impact the economy, according to the article. Nice Purple tie, and have a nice

    evening!!! Phyllis

Good Evening Mr.Williams, A fine broadcast this evening as always.

First of all the interview Ann Curry had with Iranian President Ahmadinejad certainly was interesting. The statement by President Ahmadinejad about the two American hikers to be released in a couple of days seems truly encouraging and hopeful. After so many days in prison one hopes and prays the two American hikers will be released safe and sound then be able return to their families.

Taking the statements by President Ahmadinejad with caution since he is a controversial figure. Time will tell and one hopes for a peaceful resolution.

It is terrible the deadly attacks by the taliban on the US Embassy in Kabul. It shows how difficult it is and will be for the Afghan Security Forces to mantain any security in the region. Much more work to be done.

Hoping the extremely high temperatures in Texas start to cease and cool down. Staggering how many days of above 100 degress the people in these cities have endured for so long a time.

The piece by Andrea Mitchell about the newly releases tapes of Jackie Kennedy reveal a mysterious and fascinating person of our time. Hearing her speak about a range of things is compelling.

Thank You for the broadcast Mr.Williams. Peace to You and to All!

      Be Well Everyone!

Stay Extra,Extra Safe And Well Richard! Excellent Analysis on "The Dylan Ratigan Show" about Afghanistan and the attacks on the US Embassy in Kabul.

I remember the Iran called the axis of evil has they have held these young men for two years and gave them a trial with an eight years sentence. Wonder what Iran called the US who kidnapped people, held them for 8 years without charges or trial and tortured them then released them in 2008. We might have to redefine the word axis of evil, at lease Dick Cheney takes pride in the action over the 8 years.

Jackie Kennedy was smart enough to have an image and never allow the real Jackie to be known. As a youth we never hear much about the personal life we hear today. I'm sure Jackie knew of the many woman her husband was seeing. But the proper woman doesn't talk about that and accepts her position. Many First Ladies before and after Jackie have done the same. It's hard to remember a President and First Lady holding hands like newly weds as we watched President Obama and his wife.

Brian Gov. Perry is really deeply involved in kick backs from Merck

Rick Perry’s ‘Washington Kickoff’ Fundraiser Hosted By Longtime Merck Lobbyist

I asked a group of young Moms if they would allow their child to take this drug and sorry Brian all said they would move to another State, they think Perry is crazy. We watched the opinion on the show today and still many people know of friends who have had problems with the vaccine. When it's your own child you don't deal with maybe's. Many remember how vaccines were rushed to the public later only to learn it didn't work. It's clear this is more about money then success or protection.

The Senate just passed the disaster aid funding with several GOP crossed over. Now it's up to King Cantor and the House. At lease we know who really is the Speaker of the House it's King Cantor. I worked with one of the local churches to help in the disasters in New Jersey. I couldn't believe it when Perry said we should fund the rebuilding of Iraq/Afghanistan yet he doesn't see the need for the help of the USA or the wild fire victims.

        have a great evening all

Why does Ann Curry have her head and neck covered in the interview with the Iranian President? Is she a Muslim now? How dare we encourage the disrespect of women and follow their traditions when she doesn't even believe in them.

The story of everyone coming together to help get the young man from under the burning car is extremely heartwarming!

Regarding the story by Dr. Nancy Snyderman, I think it’s terrible when all Drs (Snyderman included) stick together and say that some form of medicine is safe to take when there are so many documented cases of severe side effects. Needless to say some people are allergic to simple medications like aspirin, but as far as injections and other serious medications are concerned, since this is now the age of the informed patient thanks to the internet, actual documentation from the patients who have had adverse side effects to this injection Perry wants all young girls in his state to have, as well as other medications can now be read on various websites. Plus the fact that Perry wants the vaccination to be mandatory sounds a bit Hilteresque to me.

The questioning of Schlesinger to JFK Jr. is bittersweet, yet considering he was just three years old it is quite cute and funny to hear.

Some Americans don't feel they need to respect the traditions of other countries yet they have to respect the USA traditions. Ann showed respect while visiting Iran and in her interview with the President. Respect isn't very big anymore in the US after what we see adults do to the President and other Law Makers sound like spoiled kids and show no respect for this President or even woman. So much for American values.

I just left a group of students from Rutgers at an event and your interview about teaches was brought up. Brian these young grads are doing the same thing and applying for teaching overseas. I was shocked but also sad. We have some of the best teachers who will be teaching foreign children while our country goes without. I wondered what will the US future look like. As current Law Makers look to end education in the US and scary to think our country will look like the stupid circus clowns running for President. To think a 10th grader from New Jersey knows more about US History then these candidates who want to be US President. World History has shown by keeping citizens ignorant and uneducated they can be controlled. So sad to think our great country with so many great leaders had to fall because of ignorant leaders and their greed.

Women's memory is boosted by lower pitch male voices, compared with the less attractive raised pitch male voices. At least high pitch voices do not cause memory losses on woman.

It is sad about how true your story about teachers going over seas is! I have both a BA and MA in education and because of budget cuts in Colorado has caused me to go overseas. So far in Colorado 1st and 2nd year teachers are often being cut, support staff has been cut, older teachers have been offered early retirement, and those like myself who have MA's are now seen as "over qualified" and they can't afford to pay us.

Because of this after living in Colorado for 33 years I am now moving to China to teach over there. The US really needs to re-evaluate their priorities and begin looking at the education system again. The amount of teachers who are being laid off, not finding jobs, or going to other countries is unbelievable!!

Mr. Moore these are the changing times and China now has one of the best the USA has. Many teachers are doing the same thing and listening to the young students last night as I was at an event at Rutgers U. it's so sad. But many elected officials think the President is wrong to help our educations system. Even Senator Rand Paul feels we don't even need an education department. Some State Governors feel children should be working to help their poor families as it's a waste for them to be in school. Like other needed services if you can't afford health care it's your problem. Listening to the resent Debates it's clear many elected officials lack education as we've heard made up US History and few even understand math. At lease history will show how the World got the best educators that came from the United States of America. I wish you the best and with prayers maybe the American people will take back the USA and get the best in education back home to educate American children.

Regarding the heroic efforts of bystanders to lift the burning car off the motorcyclist, I am curious who the guy is in the suit and tie that just stood there and watched. Was he the driver in shock?
