Interesting interview with former VP Dick Cheney. In November 2004 issue

of Esquire magazine, Cheney made his case for 12 more years but no

doubt most men never got past the cover story of Angelina Jolie, The

Sexiest Woman Alive. That said. no doubt former President George W. Bush

wanted feedback from his administration but made his own decisions.

"How can you make a decision if you don't know who you are." GWB is

quoted as saying and I do not believe he suffered from an identity crisis. The

former president was in your face with who he was, and I admired him

tremendously--and still do.

No wonder Bush gave Dick Cheney the executive privlege that is allowed a President. It seems Oliver Stone's movie W is correct and explains by Cheney ran the US Government for 8 years. Many thought Bush was just a figure head anyway. History has shown some of the worse Dictators and now President Cheney is added to the list. We are now learning how close the White House was with all the countries called exist of evil. Gaddafi was so close to the Administration/Law Makers, even Senators McCain/Graham were about to give Gaddafi US weapons. Some Americans want the Libyan people to give the Lockerbie bomber to the US yet America is protecting Bush/Cheney the War Criminals. go figure!!

The circus clown candidates are better then a comedy show. Perry is talking nuts and pushing the sale of his old fake book that didn't do well. Perry has no clue about anything but says just pray for God to fix the mess law makers made. No plan, no direction but just hate Obama.

Bachmann like Bush is using God for votes as she says God is sending a message to Washington by having Tornadoes, Earthquake and Hurricane. Yes using this blasphemy speeches about God has made Mr. Bachmann a rich man. Romney is using his donations to rebuild his home at a cost of 12 million, as Romney campaigns on the issues that he's unemployed but the corporations have brought him. Ron Paul is holding on to his mission to bring the USA back to the way it was in the 1900. Paul wants to legalize drugs and prostitution which clears up where his mine is and who he gets his donations from.

Rep. Cantor has said it loud and clear the wealthy will get help the rest of the US citizens who suffered in these three disaster are on their own. As he said unless the President gives in to the demands made by the GOP, the people will get nothing. Here's a man who represents one district in Virginia now saying he is the ruler and he is holding America hostage. Cantor will get funding for the wealthy in his district because the mansions don't have earthquake insurance. Yes the word out about Obama cutting short his vacation was attacked but law makers didn't see the need to end their long vacations. Many Law Makers are doing fund raising as the RNC spent all the money on sex/guy clubs and paying for members child support payments. All this while Obama continues to do the job he was hired/elected to do.

You underestimate former President George W. Bush who is the greatest

president in modern history because he changed the world with the

ouster of Saddam so we will have to agree to disagree on GWB;however,

I do think President Obama has been tested and is a great president.

Who knows, maybe both their faces will be on Mt. Rushmore for their

accomplishment in the Middle East. Sure a new democratic Middle East

will be many years in the making, but both presidents did their part

to make it happen, and it will happen, which will transform the

World, and it's happening. And we, both Republicans and Democrats,

should be thankful, Jackie. It's a new world now. Phyllis

Phyllis hold on to your beliefs because are the truth comes out many will feel hurt and betrayed. I wish you could have followed our troops at the start of the Iraq invasion while doing nothing for our guys on Afghanistan. The Media was given propaganda information for 7 years and it worked. In some ways Bush was used and things done behind his back by Cheney/Rumsfeld but Bush was the President. Reagan was a great President but accepted blame for the Contra Affairs that was done by Bush and Oliver North. At some point America will have to deal with so much horror and yes do alot of forgiving too.

Jackie, I am waiting for the document which I hope is not in the wrong hands now that reveals the shocking truth of Saddam's reign. That said, I believe

Fran Townsend had the ear of former Pres. George W. Bush, not Cheney

who said IF I am to believe another blogger on another thread that

I was a "comedian" Which would crack my daughter Lesley up as she

once said to me " Are you sure you are not with the FBI. You have no

sense of humor." BTW I took offense at Cheney's remark about me.

You are right, Dave. And I do not understand why "they are out to get GWB."

Which is unpatriotic to say the least. have a nice day. Phyllis

P.S. Dave, At Barnes & Noble this afternoon and picked up The Overton

Window by Glenn Beck (paperback) along with The Coming Economic

Armageddon, and my favorite Christian theologain, Soren Kierkegaard,

Fear and Trembling with a new Introduction which is the reason I

bought another copy. Beck's book looks like a great read. Chapter 20

is on the money about the economy crashing and no net underneath

                this time. Phyllis

Just watching the coverage of the damage from Irene. I think we in the northeast region would do well to understand that Irene was not even a Category 1 hurricane. Underline that. When a real
hurricane comes, and it will, we would do well to realize that with the tremendous amount of development in recent (last few decades) years, it will be a MONUMENTAL disaster if we do not
prepare. This should be a huge wake-up call! Hope someone's listening.

Second comment tonight, then I'm done. Someone much more intelligent than I once remarked "History is not what happened. History is what was written down."

Obviously, Dick Cheney knows this, and he wants history to be written as he sees fit, with him as a major player.

Thanks Brian for some good news on Beyonce and her husband. So much heartbreaking news after the hurricane. Thank you for not reporting the insane comments made by the candidates running for President.

Dick Cheney was correct as Bush look to Dick for the answers and even gave him Executive Privlege power of a President. Over the years each Department of the Government had Cheney's input. Poor Attorney General Gonzales had to get orders and appoval from Cheney as did the CIA and FBI. Bush was mainly a figure head who came out with a written speech of what to say. Cheney wanted Powell out and told Bush to replace him with Rummy. With all these lies by the players of the Bush Administration together comes the truth of the crimes of the Decade.

                        have a great evening all

taking orders from CHeney. You Bush-bashers are a real pain. I need

Good Evening Mr.Williams, Another fine broadcast this evening. You and the NBC team did an outstanding job covering Hurricane Irene. Such a massive storm caudsing much destruction and the tragic loss of life. One hopes all that are without powerv have is restored quickly and also one hopes those that have lost homes can rebuild soon. An awful storm. Ones thoughts and prayers go out to all those along the Eastcoast effected by the storm.

The report by Mr.Cantore from Vermont showed such devastating destruction by all the rising waters raging through the cities and towns. Seeing all the old bridges swept away by the waters and cars pushed down the river was terrible. Along with learning all roads are either impassable or destroyed is awful since it cuts residents off from getting much needed help. The spirit of the people is not broken and they will rebuild, but it will take some time.

The report by Anne Thompson from New Haven, Conn. showed how the storm caused around 700,00o just in that State to have no power while crews work relentlessly to restore power. It was tragic and heartbreaking to see peoples's homes destroyed while family members search for momentos. Just a tragic scene.

The report by Michelle Franzen from Mansville, NJ revelealed the destruction of roads with the devastation of an Interstate. So many people cannot doe anything without and way of getting around or power.

Then the report by Mr.Potter from Duck,Island ,NC told of how businesses are trying to cleanup debris and open by Labor Day weekend. While highways are literally cut in half by the rising waters. Still no power there either.

One hopes everyone has power restored soon.

On another note Richard's report from Tripoli showed how Tripoli is slowly coming back after the battle between the rebels and Qadhafi forces. It is encouraging to see shops open and hospitals with power, yet seeing the victims from Qadhafi's forces was awful. Hearing from one man who was a prisoner of Qadhafi forces told of frightening killings of prisoners. It was scary to see the farmhouse filled with Qadhafi's stockplie of weapons. Qadhafi is certainly out of power in the country as exhibited by his picture being atop a pile of trash. One hopes for a better future for the country.

Great to see the California Little League Baseball Team win the World Championships!

Thank You for the broadcast Mr.Williams. Peace to You and to All!

                            Be Well Everyone!

Stay Extra,Extra Safe and Well Richard! Excellent Reporting as Always!

Take Extra,Extra Good Care Richard and Crew!

Phyllis: I'm waiting for a tsunami to hit the East Coast with projected waves of up to 100 feet. When will this event occur? It's all in the mind of the National Predictor Service. This project will take the place of the National Weather Service. Just remember, this monstrosity will only take place after the establishment of th NPS, so for the present time we are safe for now. The organization will be made up of psychics and members of the International Nostredomas Club. Rest assured we will all be in good hands.
