House Speaker urges Republicans to get their ass in line. What! "Shame. It must stop" and I never

thought I would be quoting Jane Fonda. What next. President Obama tells the Republicans to get

in line, quoting Coach Bobby Knight, and kiss his ass. I am a Constiutionalist and believe people have

the right to say anything they please but enough is enough already with bullys Online and in our

schools. And in our Government. Hopefully cooler heads will prevail, and members in Congress

will get the job done. President Obama has the option of the bully pulpit. Phyllis Kunz

There isn't much that can be done. They won't cut spending in any serious way, they'll come no where close to cutting the 4 trillion needed to prevent the down grading of our rating.

      Let's hope they get serious

        TRUE COMPROMISE - TRUE GOVERNANCE

The Republicans should join with the Democrats and sever anything from the bill except raising the debt ceiling.

This true compromise would give everybody standing for doing the “right” thing; it would please those amorphous folk called the American people and assure the world at large, and the markets in particular, that it was a temporary (political) sanity lapse and we are the triple A rated country they know and respect. Oh, and the Tea Party kids would know that their parents have returned home.

Then, Congress could maybe get to the business of working on the economy and jobs; Boehner would get back some of his lost chops, Reid could claim a democratic victory, that is small “d”, and the President would have shown his diplomatic genius

Today is the Day, and I never expected Scripture to come out of that mouth of Boehner. Hebrews 3:13

Encourage yourselves daily while it is still "TODAY" so that none of you may become hardened." And

I am quoting from the New American Version of the Bible which Brian Williams discussed last year on his

broadcast. Boehner is right. Today is the Day, And God bless America and its people. Phyllis Kunz

Boehner had better be careful of what he wish for; having the debt fight again in a few months to score political points. Given all the animosity with this go around on the debt ceiling the public won't stand for it 6 months from now.

The debt ceiling fight in 6 months may get Obama out of office but most Congressmen and Senators running in 2012 will be out of office. If the political partisan fighting becomes so horrible for the civilized mind to comprehend we may just well see the rise of an independent third political party not affiliated with either the Democrats or Republicans.

Speaker Boehner cried for support and even used the bible as he asked law makers and Americans to support his bill that has all the numbers wrong and will cause hardship to citizens but open the profits for corporations. Allowing the US to go in default will assure bad credit ratings and downer the US dollars. Yes I remember Jim Jones used the bible to get people to follow him well in the end they all died but they did have a choice. Today our elected House/Congress/Senate have a choice to either support the American people/USA or vote for Boehner's failed plan and destroy our Economy and citizens.

Watching/listening to Brian Williams report the news is a choice and in the area of politics Brian doesn't have a vote but refers to the political reporter on the Hill. The problem of the debt ceiling is so big many are looking to blame someone. Well we watched a balance budget get spent in last then a year in 2001. We set back and said nothing as money was sent like it grew on trees, even borrowing from China wasn't a problem. But with the ceiling at 13 trillion in 2009 and raising as we were still in two Wars and a Recession the American people wanted a magic act to repair to damage. The GOP had other plans and from Jan. 2009 the plan was set in motion to bring down the elected President and the USA. Well it came close as the GOP tried to SHUT DOWN THE GOVERNMENT and failed. Now the mission to cause the US to default on loans and destroy the US credit ratings and let the American people suffer. One person said it right what's the definition of insanity? DOING THE SAME THING OVER AGAIN AND EXPECTING DIFFERENT RESULTS. Well we see the current Law Makers are spilling the insanity plan that we have watched fail for years and even brought this recession.

Boehner has postponed the vote. Well, I guess he didn't want to miss Happy Hour! Imagine that.

I think he's decided to go after Harry Reid's record of not passing anything to do with a budget for 821 days and counting. Hey we'll find out Friday night after the markets close what this Administration's priorities will be on who gets paid and who gets the brown end of the stick. Sweet Dreams because we know they're all about "the little people"

I'd still like to see ALL of them replaced with wounded Vets and have all of them from the early 90s dragged back in to raise their hands and do something few of them have ever done.

Or recalled. Which gives recalled to life a whole new meaning.
