What we're following:
- Boehner's plan misses cuts target, vote postponed
- Olympic medalist Jeret "Speedy" Peterson commits suicide
And did you see...
- U.S. officials believe al-Qaeda on the brink of collapse
- Depression higher in wealthy nations
- Can Apple customers get away with anything?

How about doing an informal survey to see how many people would like to have say on all of the congressional benefits that they vote in for themselves, with full bipartisan support from both parties.
Have it on the 2012 election ballot, their raises, health care, pensions and staff budgets, they are our employees but have no say on their benefits.
Brian,
I didn't like your opening on Tuesday night about the deficit ceiling. You made it sound like Obama and Boehner are staring eye-to-eye and the first one to blink loses. This just puts more pressure on them not to blink first.
Former President Ronald Reagan on Congress: "I have wondered at times about what the
Ten Commandments would have looked like if Moses had run them through the U.S. Congress"
Wealthy nations appear to have higher rates of depression than countries deemed low- to middle-income, an international team of researchers suggests in a new study.
That must be why the Invisible Empire/Shadow Party (I can't remember the names the democrat party uses for their secret organizations) intentionally engineered this economic meltdown. They wanted to cheer us all up. Hey Thanks Traitors!!!
i wonder if they wear aprons with a fig leaf embroidered on them like the mormons do in their temple services and the masons do, from a mini-series on porifirio diaz (vuelo del aguila), flight of the eagle, he was a mason. he was studying to be a priest, too, for awhile, there. i hope you're right about the social security checks, mine is disability, i'm waiting another day or so to make my deposit advance from my bank. thank goodness i had alot of goods for my poor relatives in mexico that i was able to return to garnet hill to raise some cash! their return policy is awesome, whenever, no 30-day, 90-day limit, for whatever reason! they did tons of coats for our military families last christmas. i wonder who is wearing the emperor insidious' (star wars) cloak in washington, d.c.?
I've not heard anyone address who benefits from a default. The ratings companies seem eager to flush us down the toilet.
Does wall street come out ahead? The brokers an traders will see profit from nervous investors moving money around. Banks will love the higher interest rates.
I'd like to see this addressed.
I really hate the Blank Check adds. Why doesn't the other side have an ad that points out the other side. The oil executives and big corporate CEO's and bankers living in multi million dollar homes making huge profits while the middle classs is driven into poverty which is going to be even tougher since they are cutting what benefits there are. I say yes, cut things but make the corporations and rich pay their taxes. Of the top 500 corporations on 11% even pay any taxes! How is that helping make jobs - it's not - it is making them a profit.
According to Sen. McCain, invoking the 14 Amendment is foolish. Maybe, maybe not. Is the Constitution
above the Law. The answer to this question is paramount. President Obama could save the day
or be impeached. How would the Founding Fathers see it!!!
Ill to the innocent and Time will tell
