The Boehner GOP Slogan should be:  We have upped our standard of living.  And you want

what you cannot have.  That's the way it is.  Deal with it.

And sorry about your luck! But, hey, "Love means never having to say your'e sorry."

Sob Sob Sob I tear up when I hear your sad story as you have witnessed countless times with

me crying on TV. I feel bad for you Democrats, I really do, but I am between a rock and

the Tea Party and that's my sad story. Cut me some slack!" Which I imagine Boehner would

say in reply to President Obama who does't wanna hear it. Sob Sob Sob Well, you get it.l

The democratic slogan should be: "Vote for us and we'll make sure you are reliant on the government for everything and then keep voting us into office while we drive the country to bankruptcy. And make your union bosses rich while they drive businesses out of the country with unsupportable and irrational benefits packages"

It's common sense people: you should have to work for a living and contribute to society rather than just sucking it dry. If you don't like our free economy and would rather be a remora than a productive member of society, then keep quiet and take what little you deserve. Otherwise, pick up a tool and protect this amazing country from the lazy and ignorant few.

Well we all remember in 2000 when there was a surplus in the budget but that was then this is now. We remember the following:

But Boehner and Cantor, along with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan (R-WI) have all voted for some of the biggest contributors to the debt — the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the Bush tax cuts, and President Bush’s Medicare prescription drug plan — which helped to double the debt over the past decade:

But now the same Law Makers who helped create the Recession are calling it Obama's fault. To prove just how nuts and insane the Republican/Tea Party is, their calling for an Impeachment of the President, if Congress ( controlled by the GOP) doesn't raise the debt ceiling. Now Speaker Boehner is suppose to be the leader yet he will drink and cry then blame Obama. This hold mess looks like President Obama is the parent to young children elected as law makers but fighting over toys. Not one grown up in the group and like kids they walk out when they don't like what their parents are saying. The Tea Party supporters left in large numbers once the word of no Social Security would be given in Aug. most of the Tea Party were older members looking for those glory days of the 1920 and 30's.

Well things could be worse. During this crisis would could have had Bush as President or in the future crazy Bachmann or Palin making these hard decisions. I remember during the campaign for President the question was, who could act quickly if a call came at 2 or 3 am? Hillary was ready, as was Obama, now the is the crisis no one wanted as the Economy of the USA is on the line as the GOP tries to destroy the United States of America. The Corporate leaders knew it would be easy to take control when people didn't under what was being done and enough Law Makers followed the script.

I experience the airport problems from Pensacola to Newark and I now understand the problems many have to deal with. Thank goodness for the FAA rules because I would have had to spend the night in the Airport like the movie with Tom Hanks. If only airlines would be honest it might help with how people react to problems.

As many are trying hard to bring back the division between black and white it seems both will soon be the minority and the US will look much different. Yes it's been easy to bring up that old used racism of days long passed. Notice how it's the old stuff you once read about in those dusty old books for the 50's. well those old guys are bring it back. But the World has long moved on and well we have twoIndia/American Governors and you betcha a black/white President. Most of the companies with US names are own by Foreigners when Bush put up the for sale signs. Shares in American companies were brought up and the news around the World read USA for SALE. Now with the idiot GOP the word is going out the USA going out of Business Sale. With all this racist talk buy Crazy Michele Bachmann, Ron Paul and his son Rand Paul it will be interesting as Pakistan/Saudis are donating to put a President in office that will bring back the Bush/Cheney policies. Do you know who owns your home or holds the majority of shares on your Bank. When you buy that great Dunkin Donuts and spill the hate for foreigners and minorities just remember who's getting rich with price you just paid or that coffee/donut! you should check who actually owns many USA companies now and who is the majority shareholders.

          have a great day

You are so ill-informed Jackie...pity that you don't remember that the party in control when we had a balanced budget and a surplus was the GOP. Thanks to their no-nonsense approach and fiscal conservatism, we actually made more than we spent.

Put the donkeys in charge of the congress (which to further educate you is comprised of the Senate and the House) and the deficit soared because when the country needed to tighten its belt to recover from 9/11, the liberals paid off all their welfare-seeking cronies with handouts and excuses to lay around. While its humorous to think that the GOP controls Congress, they only control the House; the more powerful senate is still controlled by your apologetic wonks in the Democratic party.

List their number one agenda items over the last few years...and then tell me that they have the nation's best interests in mind.

The propaganda that your basing your argument on is flawed. Please improve your research methods and sources then revise. You point of view is skewed towards selfish pomposity.

The Clinton years were unquestionably a time of progress, especially on the economy [...] Clinton's 1992 slogan, 'Putting people first,' and his stress on 'the economy, stupid,' pitched an optimistic if still gritty populism at a middle class that had suffered under Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush. [...] By the end of the Clinton presidency, the numbers were uniformly impressive. Besides the record-high surpluses and the record-low poverty rates, the economy could boast the longest economic expansion in history; the lowest unemployment since the early 1970s; and the lowest poverty rates for single mothers, black Americans, and the aged.

The country now has a balanced budget for the first time in many years. This balance produced a surplus that both Al Gore and George W. Bush spoke of often during the campaign, as they each detailed their plans as to the best way to use this surplus for the good of the American public. Of course George Bush merely inherited the good work Bill Clinton and Al Gore did to make this surplus a reality after they inherited both an unbalanced budget and a deficit from George Bush Senior and, before him, Ronald Reagan.

Thomas Paine one of the greatest Americans knew how a Bill becomes law. As Congress has it's job the President can veto as his power. Some like to say with either Party in control it ends up in the hands of the elected President. Some like use bad names to push ignorance but the smoke and mirrors is over. Keeping Americans misinformed is a way of control. But just think if all those attacking the President for this big debt had said one word from 2001 to 2009 when care free spending was going on we might not be in this mess. The blame goes to the American people who clearly didn't pay attention to what the elected officials were doing and of course the threats of the Patriot Act if you dare say something or ask a question.

As the wacko supporters use the spin/twist/lie it's best to read for yourself and go to the White House website as the stories being told today are much like fairy tales and make believe.

The Clinton years. The democrats continue to use those time as their shining star saying tax increases were the reason we had budget surpluses. The reason for budget surpluses was the boom years of the personal computer and the internet boom. A boom like this may come along only once every 100 years. Internet boom went bust, personal computers saturated the market and those mighty tax increases could not sustain the growth. Best thing Clinton did during those boom years was stayed out of business's way.

Lets face it people, if football teams played football the way politicans govern, y'all knows what would happen. Both sides got us into this mess with one group trying to push the cart up the hll and the other trying to push it down. Just ain't worken!!!!!!!!

Jackie, You are a Paralegal, so do you think the Constitution is the ultimate Law of the Land and would

you agree with the following comments: "Of Course the Constitution is above the Law. Any Law that

violates the Constitution can be declared null and void by the courts. If a Constiutional amendment

runs counter to a Law, the Amendment obviously cannot be declared null and void." Phyllis PS I did

not complete the Paralegal COurse so that is why I am asking you. Thanks!
