All of the letters were worthy of publicity. However, I found Brian Williams' Nightly News comment on G W Bush's note a cheap shot. It took one line and, clearly, a tongue in cheek statement, out of context. Not many will have an opportunity read the entire note. Mr. Williams and his staff are playing loose with the news. If this were the only case, I would not be commenting.

July 21, 2011 is a very sad sad sad day for America. President Obama's shut down of the space program is his way of taking America out of the exceptional class and puts us into the also rans.

Many baby boomer lived the history of Richard Milhouse Nixon as he lost the election for President to President John Fitzgerald Kennedy by a slim vote. Well for many history stated with the results of that election and continued. Thanks to President Kennedy teaching youth that they had a responsibility to our country much of what is now read was already viewed at the time. As for the one liner that Mr. Williams read on President George H W Bush well one point of interest was the part George H W Bush played in the Contra Affair. Working your way up in politics has a price and you bring your baggage with you. Nixon will always be remembered for the Watergate Scandal, but we see the future brings worse things if we don't learn and punish those for their crimes. President Ford did what he thought was right for the country and lived to see the cost of that free pass. Nixon held on to being the best in Foreign Affairs but that's about it. We can change the story or even lie about it but we can't change history only the present and the future.

interesting thing about those greeks, they have coins that are made of a metal that could only have been created in a 4 star solar system. so, where's the wormhole? or were we the 4-star solar system at one time? swedenbourg, who was the minister of mines in sweden for many years was channeling some interesting thoughts on divine inspiration when he retired. the bones talk and so do the rocks and so do the minerals/elements. maybe the greeks aren't that concerned about the here and now. my hair is very greek curly right now with all of the humidity. thank goodness because for two months or more, it looked like straw and even the $20 shampoo and $20 conditioner weren't making a difference! best, anna martina

Anna Martina: I love John Frieda products, and it is all about the hair, even at the Oscar's with all

those glamorous gowns with matching jewerly. And the price is right, a given in this economy.

Let's hope it turns around.! Phyllis

Alberto VO 5 is awesome for dry hair. You must try it, Anna Martina. Have a nice day Phyllis (the

conditioner comes in a tube) good luck You may have to experiment with what works for you.

Sure that curly hair isn't being caused by these "terrorist" in New York? If Nashville had been our national financial and news center and this meltdown happened what ya think these "terrorist" would be saying now?

Same thing, it's the Tea Party's fault baahahahahaha

the curly hair is my norm, the dry, straw hair is what drives me crazy. i can only apply coconut, jojoba and avocado oils and put it up in a tight bun. that was when the fires were burning in mexico, sonoita and elgin and then the monument fire, just south of sierra vista. maybe that was why, all of the dusty carbon in the air.

You might give the VO a whirl for dry hair. It worked for me.

thanks, phyllis. my hair is curly and shiny now, but i will buy the vo5 if i have the dry hair problem again. you're right, hair is almost everything, it was very depressing to have broom hair! the garnier fructis fortifying cream conditioner for frizzy, dry, unmanageable hair seems to be working. all of that carbon dust from the fires must have been using my hair to climb back up the food chain, geesh!

Great that your cream conditioner is working for you. As Kyle says, whatever works. Good for

you, anna martina. As my mother always said, If your hair doesn't look good, it doesn't matter

what you are wearing," And she was right.

                              Hi Brian

Sorry to hear about Amy Winehouse but not surprised she was in deep pain. Well she always reminded me of the pain Billie Holiday had and what drove her to her death.

I head the BBC News and an England Official called our Law Makers, nutters. Well after reading the following

The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defense and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States

Well the GOP is planning on Impeaching the President when Congress doesn't reach a debt ceiling and default on our loans. Speaker Boehner thinks he can take the Executive Powers. This is way the foreign Leaders are calling US Congress, NUTTERS. It's so embarrassing to what President Obama have to be a parent to elected Congressmen/woman.

                              have a great day all

that must be why i made peanut butter cookies the night before last, anything to get my mind off of the fiasco in d.c. i wonder if my bank will still let me do a deposit advance like i have done in the past when i have an emergency since this is really an emergency! the interest rate is high, but it will pay my bills! my mom was in deep pain from her debilitating arthritis and used 'the patch' and my dad's pain was through the roof with that basketball tumor growing in the back of his ribs, inoperable, yowza. are our troops starting to draw down in afghanistan?

House Speaker Boehner upped the ante, and, in effect, "Up your's." He is not pointing the finger,

                                  he is giving the finger.

It's too bad Nancy Pelosi is not Speaker of the House. A woman loves a good bargain, especially

a Grand Bargain. A man, on the other hand, cannot save face. even if it is looking him in the eye.
