Dear Brian: I have been watching NBC nightly news for over 20 years but I have to let you know that I am most disgusted with Chuck Todd. I feel that he does not present the political news in a clear, non-biased and dare I say, Intelligent manner. He is not adding to the credibility of NBC and he was ridiculous today during President Obama's speech. I Had to write my thoughts because I will be channel surfing now to see if another channel offers an intelligent political analyst. I have always tried to be informed and that is why I have been a faithful NBC nightly news viewer. I appreciate your efforts as I thoroughly enjoyed your predecessor, Tom Brokaw. I did not feel anyone could fill his shoes, but you have done a great job. It's too bad that Mr. Todd is a black eye for your report. Thanks for allowing me to share my opinion. MW

      From The Hill

"President Obama on Friday kept up the pressure on Republicans to agree to revenue increases in a deal to raise the debt ceiling, claiming 80 percent of the public supports Democrats' demand for tax increases."

Sure Mr. President and we believe you too bahahahahahaha

Dave, Something you said once in something political about ending up screwed, paraphasing

former President GWB, "Screw me once, shame you. Screw me twice, shame on me." It had

something to do with the Rand Paul-Jack Conway Senate race in Kentucky. Did you know

that Glenn Beck has written a novel with rave reviews.-- The Widow Window? Phyllis

President Obama in his superb speech on Friday made reference to a layer cake and I thought of the

"Let them eat cake" mentality in Congress. The modern day Marie Antoinettes have created

an economic slowdown, which proves just out of touch they really are ----- and with reality as well.

A Marie Antoinette Cake Sale should be promoted inside the Asylum and profits to us peasants who are being

couple getting married, and good luck to the guests who are coming to the wedding. From the sound of it,

they may be pushing their luck. Have a nice weekend, all!!!!

"Carmageddon" proves light, thanks to "Carmageddon" fears. Which reminds me of the Jay Leno

joke about the woman who overcame her fear of driving and was killed when she got behind the

wheel of her new car for the first time. Oh, well, "All is well that ends well."

President Obama pushes debt talk. (topic) And House passes Tea Party's Cut, Cap Fiscal Plan. I'd

like to know when did the T-bagger hijack the Republican Party. I really would like to know. I am

appalled the GOP is getting pushed around. The T-baggers are a bunch of bullies We need a

bigger bully, like the president's bully pulpit Then, they will reap what they sow; they have it coming'

they have reaped the whirlwind. Phyllis Kunz

In my opinion, President Obama should do what former President Reagan did -- have a prime time speech,

even use some charts, like Reagan, and make his case to the American people. Then the Republicans

could make their case. We the people would cast our vote. And end the gridlock. In effect we all would

do our part. for our country and it doesn't get any better than that.
