Brian Williams for President!
Andrea Mitchell has the knives sharpened already. Leaving everyone know of Huntsman's made an unforgiveable error saying he was in New York when he was in New Jersey.
Leaving us know he is one of those nasty rich guys when he tried to give a young boy a dollar and all he had in his pockets was hundreds.
What will she say when he gives a speech telling the people he has visited 57 states to date?
Congrats on the story regarding Jon Hunstman. Actually, I should congratulate myself for realizing that NBC nightly news has degraded into the Democratic version of Fox news. Instead of talking about what a candidates views were and how it fits to the Presidential race, it spent most of its time talking about irrelevant things like misprinted press passes and non-working PA systems. All this brought to you, courtesy of the petty and sniping Andrea Mitchell.
I watched the CBS news coverage of it, and they stuck to the pertinent facts, facts that may not be necessarily good for the candidate, but legitimate discussion for the campaign. Items like Huntsmans billionaire status and positions on abortion are REAL issues.
I also congratulate myself for switching to the CBS evening news with Scott Pelley, permanently.
NBC nightly news with Brian Williams featured aNew Jersey educator on their Making A Difference segment. A layed off New Jersey teacher who is still teaching his students for no pay because a school district took away his students' music program.
A group of Patterson,New Jersey student musicians and their dedicated teacher were featured and represented New Jersey well on national TV. These students and their teacher are to be commended for their performance. They said nothing but expressed themselves through the hopeful looks on their faces and the melodic music that radiated from their bows echoing through the church and out into Patterson. These well-dressed individuals showed the country the kind of young musicians that New Jersey schools are famous for.
If Clarence Clemens saw that segment he would have been proud. These well-taught students' music program was cut and is threatened not to be reinstated next year.
Can't we sell some government property that has been sittting idle or unused; and control expense accounts, imports and exports before we start taking money and futures away from our talented innocent? It was reported that this teacher/musician who was put out of work from his district bought these instruments for his students! I hope the rally in Trenton on Thursday will let people know whose paying the real costs of New Jersey education. I hope NBC is there.
