Man am I slow or totally jaded? When I saw the headline "Like the Wizard of Oz" I thought it would be something to do with stock market, Turbo Timmy, Bernanke and the Fed. Took me a couple seconds to associate it with the storms.
DaVe, I relate to your comments this morning in a big way. The Wizard of Oz was my daughter Lesley's
favorite movie when she was growing up. And, yeah, I am slow. even on a good day Have a nice day!!! Phyllis
It was good to see Anne Thompson reporting from the Gulf last night and it will be good to see Brian there tonight.
For an interesting and well done piece on the progress of the clean-up of the Gulf, see today's Washington Post: "A year after BP oil spill, fate of gulf ecosystem remains murky" by Brian Vastag. There have been so many conflicting reports on the situation in the Gulf, it is really worth reading to help sort it all out.
Take care all-

on some of the mexican mayan, toltec, etc. stellas, there are fishmen that lived in the gulf of mexico. i wonder how the fishmen are doing . . . . . . other side of mexico, but my sonoma sister is going to cabo on friday for a week, lucky girl. she works hard, hope she gets some good sun and waves and a good massage or two! she and her son ran over a possum on their way home about 3 weeks ago, the mini cooper took a good hit, ouch. here, the santa ana winds can drive a poor girl crazy. paul simon used to be married to carrie fisher, princess leia of star wars. she got bit by the bi-polar bug, too, it's hard to live with a bi-polar. even my cats know, with my crazy sleeping schedule. was reading about sith black pyramid holucuns the other night, you don't need anything like that if the planet talks to you and tells you the stories and history that you need to know . . . . . wouldn't be surprised if washington, d.c. is full of darth apprentices. those easily thralled to power. might be part of the distillation process of it all. well, back to watering the farm. it sure would be nice to have a bullet train between tucson and phoenix, i could go visit my son since i don't drive those distances, anymore. it's a challenge to drive to tucson! i put air in my tires to drive to the highway junction, meet my son and his wife, to go wine-tasting in wilcox. hope that takes off in southeastern arizona, the ua is helping. my daughter-in-law wants to go wine-tasting to jerome, northern az, ride the train. there are several vineyards in sonoita, elgin area. we'll do those on another trip when they come down again. take good care all, best, anna martina
