What we're following:
- Four American hostages killed by pirates
- Earthquake rocks New Zealand
- Khaddafy defiant in the face of mounting revolt
And did you see...
- Film of JFK on eve of assassination surfaces
- Oil prices soar amid unrest in the Middle East
- Solar storm with the power of Katrina?

The West should unequivocally back the protesters. This is a Golden Opportunity waiting to happen
in the Middle East. Freedom is on the march.
Egypt showed the people have power and other countries should not come in but just give support to the citizens. We saw what happen with the US took it upon itself to illegally invade Iraq using excuses of WMD, Iraq freedom and the results was a mess. We have no room to tell others as we watch Wisconsin having similar problems with their Governor. The people all over World are standing up for Democracy and Justice.
Many Christians who travel overseas to introduce the Christian bible are seeing how hard and dangerous it is. We've seen even our Government funded Christian groups to get woman/children to change their religion. In Iraq and Afghanistan many families were paid to accept the bible and teach their children as the hope to reduce the Muslim faith. Religious teachers were kidnapped and even soldiers were handing out bibles as well as being told to hold the Christian faith themselves. Few remember God and Jesus always spoke of not being part of Government but with Churches now working with Governments it's never going to work.
Brian thanks for the video of a dream friend of mine. When watching Kennedy it brings back the good/bad/horror of those years. A President that inspired a generation and forever I will be grateful. One man can make a difference and President Kennedy was loved by people all over the World.
see you same time same place
i respect your opinion; however, I am convinced there were weapon of mass destruction in Iraq and Saddam
later moved the WMDs for safekeeping, a tyrant but not stupid. "He will use those weapons of mass destruction
again, as he has ten times since 1983." - Sandy Berger, ClintonNational Security Adviser, Feb. 18, 1998,.
President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17m 1998. "If Saddam reject peace and we have to use force, our purpose is
clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."
Further, Secretary of State Albright went To UN Annon (ms.) at the end of Clinton's term with concern
]about the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Another, thing it is Gadhaifi himself who called
then-President Bush a war criminal and he most certainly is not I just could not let this pass, but it is
not my intent, Jackie, to offend you because I love exchanging ideas with all bloggers and I do respect
where you are coming from. If we all thought alike , it would be a boring world. I am on record that
GWB is the greatest president in modern history because he changed the world with the ouster of Saddam
and he will be vindicated in the Middle East. Best, Phyllis
Thanks Phyllis
Like many Americans I watched from Jersey the second play fly into the WTC and with only the luck of God I hadn't accept a job I was offered in the first building. But for we I was forced to pay attention and not rely on the Media but first had as we invaded Iraq. My daughter was sent to Iraq. While Americans got the list of day at the end of the week or what the media reported the Military families got daily first hand information. Phyllis is saw Americans denied the horror at Abu Ghraib the soldiers were emailing pictures. No one would believe it because we're America and the stories are worse. I got to much first hand information that is just now being released. Our soldiers lied and thousands injured for life. If that wasn't bad enough my daughter got Stop Lock orders and was sent to Afghanistan. So with respect to those who listened to the news reports, the things done to our troops and the false stories spread to the media is something history will release. President Bush has many loyal supporters who accept him unconditionally. The World has already spoken out as to how they feel and nothing will change that. I did feel bad when Bush had the shoe tossed at him and as he traveled all the people showing posters of our President burning. Just recently President Bush had to cancel a trip for fear of being arrested. He said he is finished with politics and will not do any fund raising or campaigning with any candidate. History showed Nixon as one of the worse Presidents because of Watergate. Time shows it's not that bad now. I guess in years to come Bush might be remembered for the good things he did not the other things. But the Middle East is not one the list as we watch those Dictators being removed by the citizens and no one needed to invade to remove the leader.
Jackie, a good post, but I think the Bush Doctrine worked in the Middle East as democracy,'like it or
not, is being spread in that region. It is happening. Phyllis
Daily Beast's Leslie says Pres. Obama should skip a grandoise speech, etc. and push friendly countries
to reform": "Like, let's keep it friendly, Muslims."
