Piano on a sandbar would make a great title for a symphony, such as "Piano on a Sandbar in C Minor. This kid has a lot of talent, and I hope he is accepted into that college. May I offer a suggestion? Place a tuba on a high hill, and compose, Tuba on a High Hill for brass and and tuba in B Flat.
wow, that sounds like a primordial galaxy! thank you for having mikio kaku on, i have his book 'hyperspace'.
this is a song i wrote in july 1994, before i saw 'phantom of the opera' at gammage auditorium at asu in tempe. it goes with my manuscript, 'the legend of the perfect eternals'.
stargirl from faraway galaxy
noone has ever explained to me, who is this one that i see.
out of the mists of this dreamworld of mind, he comes to me,
speaks to me, gentles my mind.
just when my world has come crashing down, noone is giving
a hoot. must be invisible tears that i cry, can they not see
pain i suffer inside?! am i not one of them, oh, who am i?!
if you'd stand still for a moment now, i'd get a glimpse of
your face. you're near, you're so close, then you're so far away,
i'm dizzy, confused and i'm blue!
i've felt your touch and it sent me sky-high! wavelength of
light that illumines the night! you are sheer magic, are you really
mine? i wish i had eyes to see!
stargirl from faraway galaxy, that's who you say that i am.
reaching for dreams that no others dare see, turning a light
on brand new ways to think, creating beauty from loving
wellspring, this is the one that i am!
thank you! i cry to the voice of him. you, then are one such
as i. hiding behind intellectual mode, sitting in front of me,
proper and cold, dreading that fact that i'll know who you
are, if you DARE smile at me!
you DO know everything i do not know. i know what you
cannot see. YOU are the starman from faraway galaxy!
never alone will i be!!!

i'm sorry, you guys, but that hawk made me think of the children of the egyptian god, horus, since she was a female. he would sometimes appear as a hawk. the 'eye of horus' is on the back of the u.s. dollar bill, at the top of the pyramid. and the egyptian ninead was all about magic. moses used egyptian priest magic to part the red sea. there is a story about parting the waters of a river to look for an egyptian slave's hair comb in a book i have about the literature of egypt published by yale university press. maybe the hawk had a message from the supernatural about the 'human understanding' of money. i was watching a 2007 interview of mikhail baryshnikov by charlie rose and charlie asked if he would have been a ballet dancer if he had been born in the united states and mikhail answered that he probably would have been a banker! interesting take, there, about how americans view their children! bankers don't have much 'human understanding', as jackie rawlings will gladly tell you. i often wonder if you are african pharoah line, jackie. i am cursed to be line of cleopatra and julius caesar, the mormons found it when i was mormon and all kinds of weird things started happening around me i practically lived in their temple in mesa, arizona, for a couple of years, when i lived there. the temple workers wanted to put a cot down in the basement for me. and i am line of the man known as the christ when he didn't die on the cross and went to india, there to be known as 'issa'. he married line of the goddess of india, 'kali', the creator and the destroyer. i sometimes wonder if the man known as the christ wasn't a time traveller who took down a particularly nasty parallel universe. the world shook and everything went dark for several hours when he was crucified, something supernatural happened. he was psychic, he knew exactly where that donkey was going to be tied up when he sent someone for it so as to ride it into the city during passover. so, he didn't just save man, he saved the entire creation, the entire universe, he saved TIME. so that we have TIME in today's world to try and figure out who the heck we are . . . . . . you have no space for insight if you are surrounded by vitriole. you need quiet time to think and ponder and to listen for god's voice. it is there, it is always there, too many practice selective listening. best, anna martina
