Good Evening Mr.Holt, a fine broadcast this evening as always. Nice to see you filling in for Mr.Williams.

First of all the report by Kristan Welker about the terrible winter weather in the Western part of the nation. The winter storm in the West has certainly caused much havoc in so many areas with torrential rains, high winds and heavy snowfall. With the storm heading toward the MidWest Arizona, Colorado and North Dakota are getting hit hard by heavy snows making whiteout conditions. One hopes the power is returned to people since it is so bitterly cold.

The cleanup is continuing in New York with more streets being plowed although it may be hard to see the results along some streets. It will certainly take time and temperatures will eventually melt the snow.

Hearing from Chris Warren of the Weather Channel it showed how extreme the differences in temperatures from mild in some States to frigid in others. More storms headed into the MidSection of States.

Sad to learn the passing of the woman who inspired "Rosie the Rivetor".She seemed to have lived the motto everyday.

The report by Lisa Myers about information kept by the government cocerning dialysis certainly was disturbing to learn So very tragic the loss of the 73yr old woman who lost 1/4 of blood from her body due to and error at the clinic. More information needs to be known to the public since taxpayer money goes to paying for the dialysis. So very sad for the family.

The piece by Richard from the Serengeti about a road being built right through the National Park showed how man is causing the ruin of a perfectly wonderful habitat for all kinds of wild animals. Lions, Giraffes, Gazelles, Elephants and many other animals threatened by the possible building of a highway. This road could definitely cause a decline in the animals and it is tragic to think of this happening to these animals. Lake Victoria rich in earth metals used for cellphones and hybrid batteries for cars does help the economy, but at what cost to the animals existence. It is horrifying and wrong for this road to be right through this area. Possibly it could be built in another area? Maybe. Time will tell.

Excellent Report As Always Richard!

Thank You for the broadcast Mr.Holt! Have a Wonderful and Very Happy New Year! Peace to You and to All!

Be Well Everyone!

Stay Extra,Extra Safe and Well Richard! Good to know you are in New York! A Very Happy New Year Richard!

Take Extra Good Care Richard and Crew!

Lisa

Great video of the blizzard! Nice job, Jamie! Shooting in black and white made the scenes more sureal. You may want to produce a video of the cleanup efforts, being the mayor and the city are feeling the brunt of irate citizens. Nice work, and Happy New Year!!!!
