Good Evening Mr.Holt, This comment is for the Saturday broadcast on November 13th. Always a fine bew broadcast.

First of all the report by Ian Williams from Bangkok about the release of democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi which seemed to cause much excitement among the people of the region. After being held as a political prisoner she was finally released today and certainly was welcomed warmly with singing, cheering and just joyful crowds. She was a symbol of hope for the people of the Myanmar and has struggled much in her life. Hopefully, she will be able to live in freedom without fear of being harassed or face any restrictions. Hopefully, live a peaceful life.

The report by Janel Klein from Minneapolis showed how a sudden winter storm caught residents off guard being that temperatures were in the 60's recently. Slippery roads, wind, cold temeratures and cancelled flights caused much havoc within the city. Hopefully, power will be restored quickly too.

The report in the series called, "Back to Basics" showed how people are turning to thrift stores and store brands to save money. In the struggling economy people are cutting back and these thrift stores certainly help people in their budgets. It is incredible to hear how many more stores are opening and that many retailers are helping people with layaway plans. The ways to save are becoming extremely popular in this economy.

The "Making A Difference" segment by Claire Duffy about the man who along with volunteers are fixing up donated cars to people who are in need transportation. It is such a great idea and is a lifeline for people. Seeing the wounded veteran now having a wheelchair lift for his van certainly showed how much this program is helping people. The relief on their faces is very heartwarming. He is doing w wonderful thing for people.

Thank You for the broadcast Mr.Holt. See You on Sunday. Peace to You and to All!

Good Evening Mr.Holt, This comment is for the broadcast on Sunday November 14th. Another fine broadcast as always.

First of all the report about the British couple released by Somali pirates. It was wonderful the couple was finally released and will reunite soon with their families after they have endured being kidnapped for a year by the pirates. Certainly a heavy ransom was paid for their release, but now the couple is safe and ready to go home to loved ones.

The report about Afghan President Karzai wanting the US Troops to cut back in night raids because it is a sore point with the Afghan people showed he is voicing a loud statement about working towards a resolution to a more peaceful region. Hearing he wants to work with the taliban to bring them into society is disturbing since the group has killed many soldiers. He makes this statement aboout working with them, but not until NATO forces leave. It is quite a gamble to negotiate with the taliban. Only time will tell in thise process towards a peaceful region.

The report by Mr.Irvine about the release of democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi showed her receivign a tremendously warm welcome by thousands of people. She does have much popularity with the people and that concerns the generals who helld her for so long.

The "Making A Difference" segment by Mr.Alexander about Tufts University medical students setting up health care facilities to provide free health care is certainly helping many people. Hearing they treat 2500 patients a day is incredible. Real on the job training for these medical students to become doctors. A real sense of purpose. Great training!

hola, brian, used my williams-sonoma tandoori and turmeric spices to marinate tandoori chicken thighs overnight, which i baked in the oven, and made punjabi spinach saag today. had dinner with rice, heaven. i'm sure the obamas ate many wonderful meals in indonesia and asia. the release of aung sun suu kyi is awesome and i'm sure she and the people of myanmar are chomping at the bit to do something. hopefully, they can use restraint so that she remains free. there are many ways to be political without being 'out there'. political involves the needs of the people and a home altar and prayer is very effective, the dalai lama is not 'out there'. there are many roman senator and column lines in mexico city. some of them are very devious and brutal, as rome was. makes you wonder if they aren't using those poor drugged up children that richard profiled as an energy vortex for their own devious work. rome put the sword to the druids of europe and those children looked very native american, their inner voices would compare to the voices that the druids worked with. no doubt nasty roman interests would not want those inner voices going up the food chain to become a part of our technological world and end up trumping empire. i wouldn't be surprised if they weren't working on demonic artificial intelligence projects and demented intelligent design. maybe it was romans who designed 'the machines' of the matrix. no place for God in that world man is not done evolving.

God's plan for man's human spirit progresses as we learn to use His spirtual gifts as they are gifted to us, for the means that are necessary to protect Creation. the spiritual gifts are not meant to be turned to another purpose.

so, with regard to the addicted children of mexico city, the drug lords are merely pawns, there are more devious minds behind those chains of the mind and the body. probably a very similar scenario to our mortgage meltdown. poverty enslaves. it would be interesting to use a space satellite to see if any magnetic fields can be seen and where. magnetic fields that would control human brainwaves. i wish this wasn't so very close to the truth. pain and suffering are magnetic vortexes. it is our human duty to take those vortexes down, all the way down. but, if we can see this darkness, then the time has come to accomplish that deed. we are no longer oblivious to what is really going on in our 3-d reality. and we have the power of our spiritual gifts.

we must take care of each other so that no one person's pain and suffering is so great that he/she becomes a sacrifice. that story is not meant to repeat. there will be many organizations seeking out the disadvantaged as we go into the christmas season this year. and though budgets are tight everywhere, we have alot in our closets and in our sheds that can be shared. those are items that we bought for ourselves, they are useful and of good quality, some are beautiful, and they still have years of life in them and the needy can use them in good health. if we unload our material possessions, maybe that will clear the way for more gifts of the spirit, which are the real possessions that keep us alive in body and mind. i see joy at christmas 2010.

        best, anna martina
