I'm sure there are still large globs of crude oil on the ocean floor near the dead Macondo Well. The government has a tendency to feed us fallacious statements after certain events occur. We do not need to be pacified. We need to be told the truth. Even though the Gulf is in better shape since the well was capped, there will always be residual after effects from any oil spill.
