What a week we've had from a wife fixated on an apology, Corporations putting candidates in office without a vote and a new religion called Aqua Buddha.

Juan Williams had already be charged by 7 woman in the office of sexual harassment, his comments were the last straw. Strange how Sarah Palin doesn't see a problem with Williams sexual harassment while Newt see's it as normal. Good news Witch Christine O'Donnell finially admitted she is a witch now we can move on. Meg Whitman loves her son's so much she gave Princeton University 30 million dollars to cover up her son's assult on a girl. Now Mayor Mike Bloomberg is teaching Meg how to buy an election like he did in New York.

Brian how many times do I have to say you always get the information long after it was done. Iraq was an illegal invasion and millions of Iraq people were killed. It was complete chaos and everyone for themselves. As the US worked to get those oil fields and Bush dreamed of winning at War games, War profiteers made money, Iraq told the US what ever they wanted to hear for money, stealing Saddam's 900 million dollars and the conflict among the groups. The number of dead Iraq men/woman/children greatly out number those Saddam had killed. Families homeless, woman/girls raped and some of the worse horror anyone could think of.

I don't believe in poll numbers it's really about people. This election will either have the people in charge or the Corporations.

First of all the report by Mr. Miklaszewski about the leaking of many pages of documents by Wikileaks and the tremendous amount of information is staggering. Hearing about how many Iraqi civilian deaths happened is disturbing and the information could put many Iraq informants who helped the US Military during the war are risk. The White House and Department of Defense are condenming the informaiotn being leaked, but will certainly attempt to get some answers to some of what actually occurred. Only time will tell.

The report by Ann Curry about the Head of Nasa who was aboard the plane that crashed in Alaska that killed Senator Stevens told of how quickly the crash happened with no warning. He endured so much in realizing who had perished and then trying to find his son. Thankfully, his son did survive. It was certainly a struggle waiting to be rescued. A very tragic accident. Thoughts are with all the families who lost loved ones.

The "Making A Difference" segment by Mr.Tibbles from Chicago told of how a once troubled high school did a massive transformation into a place of much success by the students. It is wonderful to hear that many will now be able to attend college. Having a bright future.

Good Evening Mr.Holt, This comment is for the Saturday October 23. 2010 broadcast. Always an excellent broadcast. Always wonderful to see Richard on the broadcast! And in New York Too!

First of all the report by Mr.Miklaszewski on the 400, 000 pages of documents leaked by Wikileaks on the Iraqi deaths and those of civilians. The numbers of deaths are staggering and disturbing especially the civilian deaths because of the covering up of information. The reports of torture by the Iraqi Security Forces of detainees and none of the incidents were reported is disturbing and scary. Iran appeared to have a big role in influencing Iraq and the massive amounts of violence that happened in the region during the years of the Iraq war. So many more documents yet to be revealed it just seems to get worse and worse.

The analysis by Richard told of how information given out by the military on certain situations may have appeared different in actuality. As Richard stated it was a consistent problem with the military, contractors and others who gave information. All the messages are now leaked in the documents and seem very damaging. Richard's experience in covering the Iraq War since the beginning is invaluable.

On another note the situation on Haiti is so sad and desperate for the people in their struggle to survive. Hearing about a cholera outbreak is terrible since the conditions people are living can cause the spread of the disease. Not enough hospital beds and proper treatment available it is tragic. One hopes they will receive more help and for things to improve. It will take some time.

The "Making A Difference" segment by Mr.Allen about charitable organizations having difficulty receiving donations and those who are helping was very inspiring. The couple who had some hard times giving back the the charity that helped them and the little boy who collected donations for the Ronald McDonald House at his birthday party showed there are many good hearted people in the world. Very nice piece!

The truth always comes out in the end. We invaded Iraq to remove Saddam who had killed thousands of his people. Well now we have proof that the US killed thousands of innocent Iraq people and displaced 4.7 million people. The actions of torture/rape/murder are truly War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity. If this action goes unpunished it will happen again in the future and the accused with use the US action as their defense. We didn't learn. More information that will shock Americans will come out as it's much worse.

Americans will see history if the Republicans/Tea Party win this election. We always thought the enemy was Al Queada but never realized the real enemy was home grown. Right now we hear candidates admit they will shut down the Govenrment, end Social Secuirty/Education/Medicaide and other Federal Programs. Many have expressed repealing much of the current bills and even parts/all of the US Constitution. Full support for giving Corporations the freedom to do as they please and Banks can get a pass on fraud/crimes in foreclosures and be allowed to continue to take homes without proof of deeds. Candidates are saying what they will do it's up to voters to stop them. In the end Obama can give you help but you don't have to take it as you can choose to give the country to Corporations on election day.

We are about to witness US History. Many Americans have seen the last 85 years of change but on election day Americans will witness a COUP DETAT. Corporations/Banks with the help of Media/Press/Fox Fake News/Supreme Court, are now buying candidates and elections. Democracy will end November 2, 2010. Candidates freely speak of how they know nothing but will follow as told and aren't interested in the representation of the Amerian people. Hispanics/Latinos have been told not to vote and Gays are told vote Republican. We have a candidate that introduced us to a new Religion called Aqua Buddha and a candidate who is a Witch who can do black magic. Many of the candidate have no idea what the Constitution says nor do they know how the US Goverment works. At lease Iran and North Korea are getting a good laugh at how the once Great United States of America had it's own COUP DETAT and the American people set back and watched. Smart move as the Corporations has Law Makers distract Americans with racism/attacks on the President and even false stories, as the plan went ahead. Abe Lincoln did say a house divided can not stand. Now we see how Republicans/Tea Party/KKK groups have divided Americans while Corporations/Banks set up the COUP DETAT. President Obama did his best to fight for the people, but the people followed the corrupt group blindly.

We thought the Al Queada were the enemy to watch, never realizing the real enemy was home grown. After Noverber 2nd Americans will realize how they were tricked and look to blame someone. Look in the mirror when you ask that question. All the signs were there and even the idiot candidates told the plan but no one bother to pay attention. Remember the first and only real tape from Osama Bin Laden after the 9/11 attack. He said he was proud of those that did the bombing but then said no one would ever have to attack the US again, the US would destroy itself. Well looks like he was right as we see the Coup detat he knew it back in 2000 when his parents and the Carlye Group formed the plan. For those who don't know who the Carlye Group is, it was a company who's memembers included Dick Cheney, Bush Family and other Wealthy Oil people from around the World. The meetings were held in New York City. Once the Company inacted their plan the Company closed and collected their large profits. Your learning why the invasion of Iraq took place and who Iran and Syria helped. Most Americans believed that Axis of Evil stuff but behind our backs the countries were working with each other. For proof when Bush ordered no US company could do business with Iran, Halliburton moved it's headquarters to Iran and used the sub company in the US to get the contracts. Cheney set up the best plan and it worked. Notice for 8 years Saudi rep. Bandar was always in the White House and how close the Bush Administration was to the Saudis. Since 2009 the Saudis have left and taken their well earned profit. What's sad it all this was right in our face but we only got the fake news or what celebrity was going to jail or who was dating who.

2012 is now incorrect. I still believe the Rapture will happen May 21, 2011 but only God knows

the day and hour but I can only guess. I'm guessing May 21, 2011. Whatever, it will be on time and on the

Good Evening Mr.Holt, This comment is for the Sunday broadcast on October 24,2010 Always a fine broadcast. Always wonderful to see Richard on the broadcast and from New York too! Again this evening!

First of all the report by Richard about the documents leaked by Wikileaks and the information that continues to be damaging. The incidents described of hired contractors by the military appears to reveal excessive force was used in several incidents which caused the deaths of Iraqi civilians. Back in September of 2007 when 7 Iraqi civilians were killed and Blackwater claimed it was self defense certainly raised questions back then and now with the released documents it might show the US Military may have known more abotu what happened. Other incidents reported of guards being killed along with an ambulance driver is very disturbing. So much more evidence to be uncovered and only time will tell.

The report by Dr.Nancy Snyderman from Port Au Prince, Haiti certainly showed the outbreak of cholera now in thec rural areas could spread quickly into the camps. With hospitals overrun with with patients and not enough beds it is a desperate situation. The people drinking the contaminated water only makes things worse for the spread of the disease. One hopes that clean water can be brought in to help the people from becoming ill. It is a race against time for the people.

The piece by Mr.Alexander about the football coach who is going to be deployed to Afghanistan by the end of November was inspirational and heatbreaking too. He has been a great football coach in making sure the team works together and is held accountable for what they do. But he is greatly dedicated to serving his country in the Navy with much pride and honor. Hearing him speak about his family was heartwarming also knowing how much his family will miss him while he is away on deployment. Hopefully, he will come home soon after.

Well I guess that means the Republicans won't have time to waste going after NPR. They'll have to jump right to the Cloward and Piven hearings

We are now learning even a few Supreme Court Justices committed perjury during their conformation hearings. Chief Justice Roberts said he would never over turn a standing Constitutional ruling, but he did not.

Justice Clarence Thomas lied at the hearing of the Anita Hill hearing and then again while under oath at the confirmation hearing. Ginni Thomas might have wished she left the topic alone. Now other sexual harassed woman are speaking out about how Clarence Thomas treated them while he was their boss. We have serious problems in our Justice System as we witnessed then Attorney General Al Gonzales lied under oath live on TV 52 times. Now we see evidence of two Supreme Court Justices who committed perjury. What does that say about Justice? It's time to clean up the United States before more damage. It's time Law Makers look into an Impeachment investigation against the two Supreme Court Justice. If you can't trust the highest Court of the United States then we have no Justice System because it's the last place the American people can go.

I wish Mrs. Ginni Thomas had left the matter alone, now it's to late.

hola, lester, i did the early ballot, so now i'm just trying to keep up with the zuchinnis from the garden that are finally coming in. luckily, i have a mexican neighbor a few trailers down who makes calabasitas, too, zukes sauteed with onions and tomatoes and then you melt cheese on top and eat it with tortillas. yum. i finally made a lemon bar recipe that i have been eyeing in a magazine for a couple of years now, i bought a bag of 8 beautiful lemons a short time back. OMG. heaven. today is my oldest son's 35th birthday, i need to get another box of hair dye. he was born in st. louis back when i worked for washington university's public relations department and we got a kitten from a beautiful cat that belonged to john danforth, the chancellor. trudi spigel was married to a professor in the political science dept. that worked with lattie coor, who went on to become president of asu, where i to my finance degree and brian was honored with the walter cronkite award. a good place. spigel means 'mirror', it made me think of 'alice in wonderland'. trudi and her husband went to spain on his sabbatical and she was very badly injured in a bus accident in rural spain. she was a christian scientist. we prayed hard. she ran the university's speakers bureau. she was fun. the democrats must be doing SOMETHING that the republicans and the tea partyers are all riled up:-) jackie, i hope there is some kind of underground resistance movement in the united states that will upset the corporate way. the corporate way is not life as God intended for us, that's for sure! i am not sorry that i was early retired . . . . so, here we go, lester, the last week before election day on all soul's day. best, anna martina

Afghanistan was discussed. Of interest, perhaps, According to Time, with U.S. approval Moscow

heads back to Afghanistan which is good news because no country has won a war without the
