What a pleasant surprise to see Brian on 'Today" commenting on President Obama and the interview. Clearly, there was discomfort. This is a subject Mr. Obama is not comfortable with. The first in all avenues will always carry the burden of being first. President Obama will always have to tackle outrageous doubts about being born in America, being a Muslim, whether or not he is a racist. I feel for him. A burden too heavy for one man to bear.
On the phone for 30 minutes with my Mom discussing Glenn Beck. You cannot make such a strong, direct statement such as "Obama is a racist," then now to rethink. We should hold Beck accountable for always wanting center stage. This is what it was - CENTER STAGE. Recently Beck, on his radio talk show, said, "Everyone, lately is profiting from my name."
Big ego, don't ya think?
Someone needs to remind Sarah Palin that when addressing the President it is not "Obama"- the proper address is "President Obama."
He has EARNED it. The President did all society and man ask and require.
He was sworn in as President of these UNITED STATES.
