What's so controversial about the boring old Progressives in New York finding one more way to piss in America's eye? It would be controversial if they weren't going out of their way to insult or betray the rest of the country.
It's sad to hear reports of the worse number of soldiers who died in this way are the brave 66 who were kill in July. Afghanistan War was left out of the news for so long as one would think we were only in Iraq where all the money and soldiers were for 7 years. Brian we lost over 200 soldiers in month in Iraq why wasn't that reported? The Media now reports on everything happening in Afghanistan as if it only started when Obama took office. Soldiers are coming home from Iraq by the thousands yet that's never reported on the news. This country and the Journalist have been messed up for 8 years and it seems many have not gotten back to the oath of fair/balanced reporting. What's sad is PBS, BBC and Foreign News Stations give up dated correct information and have since 2000. Richard is a life saver to NBC because he's is the only Foreign Journalist who not only tells the truth but leaves his personal opinion out. Many Foreign Journalist have a deep respect for Richard.
The Government has it's hands full with HOME GROWN AMERICAN TERRORIST. I always wondered why Bin Liden said no one would ever have to attack the USA again. He was correct as we see groups of racist terrorist cropping up all over and some even in law enforcement. Wealthy men with nothing to do but bribe and chose chaos found a way of trying to take over the US. They saw our Supreme Court Justices can be bribe and it's to easy with the law makers. Putting idiots like Sarah Palin and Rand Paul out there to spill hate/racist speeches. Our major enemy is right here in America and yes their Americans not foreign.
have a great day all

Casualties of WAR.
Sad statement on AMERICA.
A cloudy day ..can't see thru the tears-
My 5 week old kitten died this morning.
Yesterday, my Vet said the kitten had an irregular heartbeat.
Makes me realize the overwhelming sadness death brings.
Imagine the families' grief of the soldiers you listed.
