        Dear NBC Nightly News,

        Your report this evening regarding the war deaths of our brave men and women is indeed sobering. However, your choice of language regarding suicide is unfortunate. NO suicide is "successful" but rather sad. The best language we may use is not "successfu," but rather "completed," and without understanding for those left behind. Any taking of one's life is truly sad. We are left with sadness and loss.
