Uncomical quotes

Josh Neufeld, the author and illustrator of "A.D. New Orleans After the Deluge," observes that similarities between the Hurricane Katrina tragedy and the BP oil spill "are, distressingly, many." He continues:

One of the most striking echoes are the two men ostensibly in charge of the disasters, Michael Brown and Tony Hayward. In a fit of pique last weekend, I drew a little something about the two executives and their glazed, disassociated stares. In the coming weeks, I hope to check in with some of A.D.'s subjects to get their sense of things five years down the road from Katrina and eight weeks down the road from BP.

May I mention this? Please.
Thanks much for using "Today" to focus on missing / abused children.
The "Baby Lollipop" case is currently in Retrial here in S. Florida.
It is a horrific case of child abuse.

How can anyone compair the lost of thousands of Americans to the Oil spill? Is human life that less value to the American people. I live in California where we see wild fire distroy thousands of open land and even homes. Now homes get rebuilt and Mother Nature recovers the land. The Oil spill in the Gulf will be clean and Mother Nature again will bring back the sea to the way God created it. Animals will always be on earth even longer then man. Now people are blaming Obama for not stepping in. Law Makers know Bush signed a contract with Oil Companies giving them the freedom to drill. If Obama steps in it's a breach of contract and BP/Halliburton will sue the USA taxpayers. But as long as that information is left out people will continue to blame Obama and support BP.

I heard the hearing today with BP. The Law Makers should all recieve an Oscar for their preformance and it the hearing should be nominated for best Picture. All these Law Makers are being paid by BP/Halliburton for support and to make sure Obama doesn't allow for criminal charges and get the votes to pay as less as possible. Buying votes has worked well for a long time as most American really think their representatives are working for the citizens. Karl Rove's plan of fixing voting machines has caught on in South Carolina too. It was to funny and even a 5 year old could figure it out. An unemployed/Vet on charges of a felony gets a public defender and by magic he registers to run for office with a 10,800 dollar check. He sits at home and watches tv and never raises money. But on the day of the Primary he gets 100,000 votes from people who have no idea who he is. His next stop is to the Democratic committee and you betcha he's in a limo, while still unemployed and pennyless. Only in America? Now DeMint blocked the TSA appointee for over a year allowing two terrorist to try and bomb the US, and voted NO on every Bill to help the people. DeMint knew he wouldn't get the votes so he used the Karl Rove plan of fixing voting machines as that plan worked two before in 2000 and 2004. The United States can no longer charge any country will fixed elections as we have become the Masters of the Earth on how to cheat/fix elections.

Two tragedies unfortunately managed by two inept individuals.
We hope the President performs well tonight.
      So much is at stake.
On "Rush" - a lot of dissatisfied callers.

Well (no not the one leaking because Barack Petroleum didn't listen to Halliburton about the concrete and rings) "the debate is over". Obama needs to hire better speech writers and maybe someone with an idea whose not corrupt and working on an agenda that's not in America's best interest.
